Extremely friendly helpful staff. The food was delicious, the beach was wonderful, the pool was wonderful. Good A/C and incredible view. Our shower head had an issue they weren’t able to fix due to not having a new shower head but they made it right in the end by compensating a full dinner and wine. 5 stars and highly recommend. Amazing

This hotel is gorgeous. Amazing location with an extremely convenient shuttle service. The shuttle brings you directly to town and to their gorgeous private beach. The entire staff works like a well oiled machine. What a beautiful stay. I’d heavily recommend this hotel.

The Grand Excelsior Amalfi is a beautiful hotel with a majestic view of the entire Amalfi Coast. For those of you who speak the native language, you will enjoy it. For those who do not speak Italian, I believe you will enjoy it even more since the courteous staff bends over backward to accommodate your every need. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Very polite staff and very accommodating. Most of the staff speaks english very well, or will be able to find someone who does if you do not speak Italian. Delicious food, and an incredible view of the coast. The pool is magical! We will be back!!

Fantastic view. A bit dated rooms, especially batrooms, and beds. Nice breakfast. Restaurant is a big problem for an expensive hotel far away from an alternative. The menu was very unclear and wrongly translated to English. We ordered caprese salad, and got a cold tomato soup. The waiters answer was that we should make it clear that we wanted a salad. They haf grilled fish as a dish. We asked what kind of fish, and the waiter informed that it was seabass. He was wrong, and agian the menu was wrong. Grilled fish was grilled seafood. My wife is alergic tog shellfish, and we fo not like octopus, so a small pcs (50 - 60 grams) was our maicourse and price 28 Euro. The reastaurant is the only very negative thing about this hotel. Shuttleservice beachservice, beach cafe, reception and breakfast is 5 stars.

The weather was amazing while we were there. The rooms are very clean. We had a patio that overlooked the Almalfi Coast, great view. It was also conveniently located, so going into town was quick and easy. We also had a shuttle service that ran All day from morning to about 10pm, so we saved money on taxis. The breakfast was included and was great. The hotel service was exceptional.

One word to describe this place : AMAZING! The hotel is so clean and the staff are amazing, so nice and helpful! They have shuttles to get to the center and beach just about every 20 minutes which is super convenient! We had breakfast every morning that was also great with a gorgeous view over looking the coast! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Amalfi! Everything about it was fantastic!

Our first time staying in Amalfi and I don’t think we’ll be able to stay anyway else! The views are incredible and the service is even better than that. As soon as you walk in you’re very well taken care of. The restaurant has great food and the bar is fully loaded. The pool shares the amazing views and very unique. The gym was perfect for what we needed also. Views from the bed made it hard to get out of it every morning. We will 100% be back.
