It was ok but way to expensive for the value. The staff was excellent. Restaurant ok. Breakfast had only a limited amount served - no buffet. You had the feeling of being and ATM for the hotel with constant offer of buying extra items. The garden was beautiful.

Good location in a quiet part of Ubud. Rooms were spacious but not a lot of daylight. Chair and umbrellas at the pools seemed old and in need of an upgrade. Very friendly staff.

Wapa Di Ume is a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. It feels very traditional and formal, in both look and service compared to some other places we stayed while in Bali. The staff is all very friendly and professional, and happy to help. The rooms are huge, and very minimally decorated, which is both practical and calming. The super-sized beds are super inviting. The spa was lovely, we booked a couples spa package that included a Balinese massage, body scrub, and flower bath overlooking the jungle and grounds - perhaps the highlight of our stay. The hotel restaurant was very good, and the floating breakfast was lovely in the infinity pool, which we had to ourselves.

Absolutely fantastic place if you want to be close to Ubud, yet not in the middle of this busy city. Staff are so friendly and service minded - definitely a place we wish to return to.

Beautiful amenities, our suite had a pool. Staff are very friendly & readily available anytime you need anything. I will definitely stay there again.

We booked the family villa and it was beautiful, just like the resort. Few resorts in Ubud have beautiful scenery like this one - right on a rice field (not terrace), with an infinity pool and a spa.
My favorite part was that the resort offers activities like yoga classes and rice paddy walk. That was a nice bonus. They also arranged breakfast in pool but this felt a but overpriced considering breakfast is already included in the reservation and it was not any different.
Areas of improvement are:
1) the gym - it’s in poor condition with some machines not working. No A/C.
2) entire resort is poorly lit at night. Lighting needs to be better. We almost tripped several times cause it was too dark.
3) pest control needs to improve - our room was full of spider webs and wasps. We wouldn’t care but it got to a point where we had bugs in our beds.
4) Communication - teach your staff English. We had tons of miscommunications with appointments.
5) The spa needs more attention. We had a bad massage here, towels were dirty, booked for 1 hr but lasted only 40 minutes. Masseuses were tired as it was end of day.
6) room safe was broken
Based on these reasons, although I didn’t mind my stay here, I would rather stay at a different resort next time I’m in Ubud.

Such attentive staff, amazingly huge room with view. Breakfast was amazing. Had low expectations but everything was exceeeded.
Rooms were expansive and beds so comfortable. What an enjoyable stay.

Loved everything about the property (ie. the pools were beautiful, clean, and excellently serviced by hotel staff. The rooms are the same. The staff is phenomenal. Very friendly and always professional.

Beautiful place. Love the peacefulness and quietness of this place. Not too far from Ubud shopping center. They have a shuttle to take you to the center and pick you up. All staff were friendly. Attentive and prompt to any concerns. We stayed there 8 days. Suprasa the manager was really nice, upgraded our room with a private pool when he noticed we were staying for couple days. Checked in on us to see how everything was and attentive to needs and concerns. We had breakfast here everyday overlooking the beautiful rice terrace, there was a good selection of choices. We were usually out exploring so we had lunch and dinner somewhere else. But the restaurant does serve lunch and dinner as well. The Infiniti pool was very enjoyable. My heart misses everyone at this beautiful resort.

Wonderful experience. The only drawback was the extremely friendly Gecko which insisted on serenading us at 3am. Never knew lizard could be so loud! “Tuko Tuko!!”

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. The location, the views, the amenities, the food and the staff was simply spectacular!

As good or better than the photos. Very large individual pool and huge room. Bathroom top notch and very clean and super quiet at night. The on site restaurant was better than anywhere else we ate in Ubud and staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Definitely stay there again unless this and other positive reviews push prices out of our range!

We stayed with 3 kids (aged 7,5,2) for our 9th anniversary trip. We got lots of surprises from the villa (petals in bath tub, petals on the bed, a delicious cake and even upgraded room).
They made us feel special.
Very nice, quiet and privacy villa.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 night stay at Wapa di Ume Ubud. This was my third visit to Ubud in the past five years, and I stayed at two other resorts on my previous trips. Wapa di Ume Ubud had turned out to be my favorite resort by far. For my future visits to Ubud, I will only stay here from now on. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff were so amazing. Everyone greeted me each time with a big, authentic smile. I felt like I was treated like family or a friend, not just as a guest. I highly recommend the villa with private pool. Everything I had at Mr. Wayan, Coffee and Eatery was exceptional, from their Indonesian selections to their Western selections. I am looking forward to returning to Wapa di Ume Ubud next year.
