Our stay at Hotel Principe di Villafranca was good. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the stay. We cannot speak on the parking situation as we did not have a rental car. It was a 25 minute walk to the town center and plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops in vicinity

Good location, we were able to walk to central areas and to restaurants. Room was clean and functional but very small/tight bathroom.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Principe di Villafranca in Palermo from May 25th to May 28th, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being a four-star hotel, the service I received was well below par. Upon arrival, the receptionists were extremely rude, behaving as if they were doing us a favor by accepting our booking and speaking with us. Not once did I see them smile or exhibit a friendly attitude. When we inquired about a late check-in, our request was bluntly denied. Our booking included two rooms, but upon check-in, we were informed that only one room was reserved. They reluctantly provided a second room, which was notably smaller. To make matters worse, despite it being well past midnight, we were abruptly called and visited by hotel staff, demanding that we change rooms immediately. They couldn’t wait until the morning, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The overall attitude of the reception staff was consistently unwelcoming and unprofessional. They rarely greeted us unless we initiated the interaction, never smiled, and often appeared angry and impatient. On a positive note, the cleaning staff, janitors, and breakfast room attendants were kind and courteous, which was a small consolation in an otherwise disappointing stay. However, the breakfast itself was nothing special and did not meet the standards expected of a four-star hotel. Given the high prices and poor service, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here for three weeks. The staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony, which is great to have-- but both rooms were very nice. The beds are very comfortable, though I do wish they had black-out curtains. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in finding services I needed to fully enjoy my stay in Palermo. The housekeeping staff was diligent and friendly, greatly enjoyed them. I don't usually eat breakfast at hotels, but I did here. The buffet was simple but had something for everyone: eggs, meat, some lovely sweet treats, and great coffee. Even though it was a buffet, the server was always present and happy to get whatever you wanted. The location is quiet--but very, very close to the historic center. I enjoyed the short walk, and i also enjoyed the proximity to more 'local ' cafés, etc. I would be happy to stay here again.

Clean comfortable room bit dated needs freshening up, housekeeping needs to replenish coffee and tea as a bare minimum. Good location to all the bars, restaurants and historic centre

The hotel room was a great surprise. It was definitely comfortable with really nice beds and linens. There were duvets on the bed. The bathroom was not large but it was fine. And the breakfast offered was fine even though the room was very hot. The only bad thing about the hotel was the €100 taxi ride from the Palermo airport. we walked to one of the squares and enjoyed a nice dinner

This was the worst four-star hotel I've ever been to. although the reception was nice, from the outside and the common areas looked good, but the service was terrible, the staff didn't even see us, the breakfast was very poor, but the worst thing was the cleanliness. There was a terrible smell in the room and mold in the shower. This is Deluxe room in 4-star hotel.

hotel situated just behind designer stores if you like that sort of thing. room itself was comfortable but not too fancy. did the job perfectly as it was within walking distance of town centre yet far enough away from hustle and bustle. staff were excellent

Clean and modernized with wonderful and attentive staff. Note if you have a car make sure you make a reservation for parking at the time of hotel booking, space is a premium in the city. Great service including laundry delivered on time and ironed. Excellent location walkable to all points of interest and nice little restaurants just a block away.
