We had a family room on the 4th floor. Elevator only serves to the 3rd floor. Last meters to be done with the most dangerous stairs i have ever seen in a Hotel. The room was old and poor. Not enough water pressure for a proper shower. Materaces old and soft, linnen too thin and worn out. No complimentary mineral water and no bathroom armenties at all. Hair dryer only on demand to be picked up at the front desk. Promo photos in Hotels.com were taken from other rooms. Couldnt find our room anywhere. Simple Hotel bar serviced from the front desk. Good prices. Nice breakfast even though the room is too small for the number of rooms. Full breakfast. Nothing is missing. We enjoyed the breakfast. I have paid 580 Euros for 2 nights and i will not consider to stay there again.

According to the description of the room, I was supposed to have a double bed but I ended up with a small single bed. The bed sheet was not clean with a big spot on it. Furthermore, the room was very cold when I arrived. Great place to stay in city centre, would stay there again if I go to Deventer. Clean and spacious room and breakfast buffet was included. Very friendly front end staff.

Room needed attention, walls were badly marked in places. No facility for tea/coffee in room, had to ask for hair dryer and iron. Great location, but room is very basic. Staff very friendly but more of them needed during breakfast and to staff the cafe.

We loved the building, a very unique place to stay, a beautiful old building with timber work and lead lights in the main areas. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The rooms are quite small.

If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not it. Still, I have been a few times in the hotel now. The entrance hall of the building is cool. The rooms are very clean but simple and good if you need the room to sleep and not to work. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good. I will be back.

Old historical building right in the hearth of Deventer. I had no problems parking the car close to the hotel and the hotel is within walking distance of all restaurant in the historical hearth of the city.

Short visit to pittoresque Deventer. Hotel Gilde is located in the nice-looking pedestrian area of the town. Taxi could not drive to the hotel door but left for walking 50-100 meters. The hotel is old and looks old-fashioned, with nothing luxurious, but clean enough. Good basic breakfast.
