access to the hotel barred, no alternative roads, no response to phone calls, three hours later we booked the hotel room at quality hotel Drezden and got some sleep before going on our journey the next day ... money out the window .. stay away from this place

Clean and simple hotel.
Worst part is there's no one in reception in the afternoon or at night so you need to use a code to get a key from a machine (after you made the payment for the room by card only). I had a bad experience 'cause I was charged 10euro extra because my card was denied - they said. My card worked perfectly fine when I paid for the room and we had a big disaggrement.

My hubby fell sick after staying at this hotel as the heater was not turned on and the night was chilly since the hotel was up in the hills. There was also nobody at the reception when we wanted to check in and out. As it was late during our check in, the hotel closes the nearest access doors to our rooms and we had to climb several stairways to get to the room. Since we were travelling for more than 1 month, we had a lot of luggages and that was absolutely horrendous during our check in. As for checking out, there was no reason for the reception not to be manned since it was noon!
