Nice stay. But 2 cons.
Parking place the ground have some massive holes. So for 18 eur you get bumpy
The dinner buffet, all the notes was in German. That’s okay, but really hard to see what food were vegetarian and what was not.

Very - very dissapointed at our stay at A-Rosa Travemünde!
At a 4-5 Stars hotel, I believe that guests should’ not carry the bagage to the room our self, when taget got 4-5 bagage wagons at the reception - and my girl friend is pregnant, but still no service from them.
The wellness area was almost all closed off, there were ONLY 3 saunas open, none of the dampbath’ were open, the icecave was closed - the water in the pools was freezing!!
- And it’s still full price for the stay, if it was 50% off I would recommend the stay, but at this price level, it was really really dissapointing!
Almost none of the waiters spole fluent english, if it was a 2-stars hotel that would be okay - but at 5 stars, they should be fluent!
At the room, there was 2 outputs for electric, none by the bed - no light on the terras, HOW CAN THERE BE NO LIGHT OUTSIDE?!
The ventilation in the bathroom did’nt work..

Our stay in Travemunde was wonderful but very short. Arrived late in the evening and left early after breakfast. I would come back and recommend to my friends.

It is a beautiful location and everything is made to make you feel comfortable. But the buffet price are way to expensive and 8€ for a bottle of still water, that’s a bit too much.

The hotel is well situated and has a lovely spa. The staff was just ok. The room is starting to look a little dated. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hotel perfectly located in the touristic area , with very nice swimming pool and indoor hot water pool , the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excelent

1. Everything is in German , the room info, the amenities brochures,activities tv etc so the only way to know something is by asking
2 the kids club staff only speak German
For being a 5 star hotel they need to change does little things that will make it more inviting for non German travelers

We stayed in May and all really enjoyed our time at the A-Rosa. The hotel is beautiful, the pools are magnificent, the breakfast buffet is amazing, and the staff are professional and friendly. That being said, we had the feeling that we were the youngest people there by about 30 years (or at least the only 30 somethings there without kids). I guess you just need to be aware of what you are booking; A relaxing, non-adventurous hotel, in a relaxing, non-adventurous town.

I loved the hotel! Rooms very spacious, Spa is excellent! Food mouthwatering! As well as a beautiful beach and stores and places to walk or ride a bike and take in the sights! Definitely worthwhile, a plus for me was the mutilingual staff! My German is not that good. :-). The only issue I had was something I had no control over, the weather. It rained and was cool, but the spa will keep you occupied.
