The customer service agent at the front did her best to attend to my every need. It was a staycation for me thus I needed an area wherein I could work quietly. She assisted me in finding the business center, which was exactly what I needed. In addition, on my second night requested a room that was not connected to another room. She arranged for me to have access to all the hotel's amenities while my room was changed. The customer service I received was first-class.

This is a good choice for many reasons: they provide a free buffet breakfast with a good variety of tasty hot and cold items, there is a swimming pool, front desk staff were helpful and pleasant and check-in and -out was easy, the room and the bathroom were very large with all expected amenities and lots of towels, there is an on-site bar, and finally there are a variety of restaurants nearby. We definitely recommend the Hyatt Home and plan on stopping there on our next trip to the area.

I had great expectations based on photos but the furnishings and condition of the room was not updated. There was an extremely dirty windowshade, which left me doubting the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Also, truckers/workers slammed doors between 4 to 6 am.

I recommend this pet friendly hotel. Convenient shopping nearby. Close to wonderful authentic downtowns Fishkill and Beacon. We did a nice activity touring Bannerman Castle by Boat and walking tour on the island

This was one of the dirtiest hotels we have stayed at. Bed matresss was filthy and had a few bugs. Room was FULL of cobwebs and spiders. Hallways dark and dingy. Had to cut our stay short.

However, this was not properly processed. their system, and the following day, we were informed that we had been marked as a no-show. We had to go through the hassle of reactivating our reservation.Also, the hotel is currently undergoing construction, which was not mentioned when we booked. The lobby was largely blocked off by the construction, and we had workers right outside our window.The breakfast options were fine, though nothing particularly special. The room itself was clean and met our expectations in terms of amenities and layout. However, one incident stood out: despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, an employee entered our room one day. The employee did apologize and explained that it was a misunderstanding.Overall, while there were some positive aspects of our stay, these issues left us feeling less satisfied than we had hoped.

The Hot wzter tasted like the urn was used at one time for coffee. The hot water had a coffe taste. It ruined my tea. 3) Add individual yogurts of various flavors. The "bowl" of yogurt looked old and unsanitary and only had one flavor 4) Add a waffle maker to the breakfast choices. These small changes would make the breakfast so much better.

The property was nice. The room I was put in had an “old food” smell from the moment I walked in, and only got worse when they were making breakfast. I kept the bedroom door shut so the smell didn’t come into the whole suite. Their solution was to spray the room with air freshener but it didn’t last long. Bought my own so I could keep spraying.

Average to expected when it comes to hotels. The front desk guy stood out as having excellent customer service. Coffee station was in a great location. Great seating in lobby and breakfast area. Bathrooms were a bit hard to find on the first floor.

Beds were horrible, sink didn’t drain which is absolutely disgusting. And no shower gel in the container. I will say the front desk was very receptive and apologetic. However, I doubt I will stay there again. Many other options in the same are.

Dated rooms - cleanliness was average or so so. Room was short enough towels for our family of four - had to call to get shower amenities filled (they were empty). As a whole the hotel looks like it has seen better days (hallways, pool, etc.) - so a little disappointed based on the previous reviews. Will not be going back given the large number of other options in the area.
