A good hotel in good location, however starting to look dated, needs attention to maintain height standard.
Cleaning service poor, missed on 2 days and we had to continually call to get room serviced.
Pool area amenities, chairs, planting needs replacing, area cleaned.
Reception area, repair work poor to painting, ceiling repairs and front door handles loose and needs repair.

The hotel is quite well located near the Novo Cavaleiros area, cross a busy street and you can get to some restaurants that are near the beach. Check-in was fine, the receptionist had great English skills, parking is free and the reception area clean. The room itself was fine, the bathroom rather dated though the shower wasn't exactly a "power shower" but adequate. One issue that was "painful" was the bed. Very, VERY soft mattress left me rolling out of bed in the morning with a very uncomfortable back - as though I had slept in a hammock! But as I say the room was large and comfortable, lovely view of the sea and all in all, I would probably stay here again,(But I would check the mattress - I would definitely move rooms if it was that soft again,)

There was confusion about if breakfast was included. I couldn't tell when I made the reservation so I asked when checking in and was told it was included. When I checked out they billed me about US$30 for breakfast. I protested and the manager comped the charge but it was embarrassing.
