Used this hotel as a stopover, beautiful setting and hotel, be aware they don’t serve dinner till 20:30 :-(

We were looking for a hotel close to Miami platja as we were heading back home to France and the only one at reasonable price was Figuerolas Resort. Located in a very quiet area in a mountain area at 13km from the beach. Easy drive of 10mn. Original hotel with nice surroundings. clean rooms and good breakfast. Only things to improve is the number of sun beds around the small pool + sun umbrellas.

My room was beautiful, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The hotel is quiet in general, but the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors at times. The resort was peaceful and really helped clear my mind. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, and a jacuzzi, all of which have the same beautiful view of the mountains. By train and taxi, it is just 3 hours away from the center of Barcelona. The reception was amazing. I mainly dealt with the English speaking staff (a woman with blonde hair, I didn't get her name), as my Spanish is not too good, but I felt that they went above and beyond to help me. I was in such a rush to leave for vacation that I had forgotten a converter for my chargers and to withdraw cash (the taxis and RENFE train station only accept cash). The receptionist brought a converter from home the next day to see if it would work for me. The next day, as I headed back to Barcelona, I didn't have enough cash to pay the taxi, so she called a taxi to take me to a bank before dropping me off at the train station. The service here made all the difference to me, and I will definitely come back if I need another quick getaway from Barcelona.

Much needed quiet resort away from the tourist trap hotels elsewhere. It was so refreshing. Loved it. The diner menu was amazing. Worth the added cost. Family of 4 was about $90 Euros but was the most memorable in my three week holiday.

This hotel has only been reopen for a few months and is absolutely fantastic. Nestled in the catalonian hills with a beautiful spa and golf course. We've visited it a few times before but never stayed there until now and it was well worth the stay. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. It costs 9 euros which may seem a lot but it is worth every penny. The outside pool is small but very pretty; there are only about eight sunbeds but also some large outdoor leather sofa beds and very few people use them on a daily basis so there are always enough to go around. It's much nicer than the usual display of hundreds of sunbeds in most hotels. They could do with a few more parasols as there was only one so we mentioned that to them. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting with an original 16th century castillian building. We only paid 60 euros a night for a double room too, although it can usually go up to about 125 depending on when you book or go. The ice room and steam and sauna rooms in the spa are amazing!

We stayed at La Figuerola whilst house hunting in the area. It is extremely convenient as a starting point for such an activity. It was easy to find, and reasonable well appointed. The rooms were a little on the spartan side, with no additional pillows, no tea/coffee facilities or stocked mini-bar (only and empty fridge) but clean and well presented. But these are minor points.The staff were helpful, polite and well groomed. The restaurant is a major point in the Hotel's favour. Traditional Catalan dishes that were marvelous. We did not take advantage of the Golf course or Spa facilities, but given more time, we would like to have done so. Our vote - WE WOULD RE-BOOK!

A great hotel with attached golf course. Don't play golf, but the course makes the hilly surroundings even more pretty. Just 15 minutes drive from the coast makes it a great base for beach holidays, too -- especially if you also play golf.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding we were attending on the saturday (not at the hotel). It looked very nice on arrival and much like the picturers. We didnt arrive until 9pm on the Friday evening so just wanted a nice meal and relax. The food was average and not hot at all, at dinner or breakfast. The restaurant very "clinical" in the way of lighting - nothing warm about it at all. The staff spoke very little english and were not very friendly - almost miserable!! And the bar - well for the size of the hotel we were expecting alot bigger bar, and again very clinical and basic. The indoor pool and spa area looked very nice and modern but didnt seem to fit in with the rest of the hotel. Disappointed overall and were glad to get back home to smiling faces and hot food!!! Oh and chilled wine as the rose was warm!!!
