We enjpyed the stay. As with most island hotels, it is outdated. The location and service are great.

It was a cozy option for Labor Day weekend. We felt very welcomed by staff.

Our stay was adequate - upon arrival we found no accommodation for handicap - so 2 of our family were challenged to navigate a very difficult set of stairs. It was limiting on our stay because we could not return to room in between activities due to this. Our handicap and senior family members had to remain downstairs because of difficulty climbing and no other access for them to get to room. The breakfast provided was rolls and orange juice. We didn't even have hot water for tea. I would not consider this even a continental breakfast as advertised. The room was clean and staff were courteous so the stay was adequate. My disappointment was due to the handicap limitation and sub standard breakfast provided.

The staffs are accommodating and nice. Cleanliness and organization inside the room is good and outside as well. We are so glad we chose this hotel because it is close and walking distance the shopping stores and others. We surely recommend this hotel to others and planning to come back again.

The bathroom door creaks a lot, everything looks very old, they need to remodel the bed was very uncomfortable, honestly I do not recommend it, I would not return

It’s a great location on the main st in Avalon - nothing fancy - but clean and safe. You do have to climb stairs to get to it.

We stayed 3 nights in an oceanfront king for my wife's birthday celebration. Great place! Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. It is a little on the smaller side, but it is a vintage venue and they make good use of the space. Well laid out for a couple. Staff was friendly and helpful. View was amazing, looking out over the water and harbor. This is right in the middle of everything, so the sounds of music and people were pretty constant from around 9:00 AM until 10:00 or 11:00 at night. We didn't actually mind it, though. The sound of the waves on the shore could also be heard above the rest of the revelry, so the ambiance was still beautiful. And, once the din of people tapered off at night, all that was left was the repeating waves throughout the night. Very relaxing. We would definitely go back again.

The property is older but well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am a senior and don’t walk well. It was great having the ocean right out the front door. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
