The hotel was fine, the breakfast was decent, and parking was easy (mid November). However, Quarteira is not really worth a stay for its own sake. I just served as a convenient location to reach other places at the coast.

Amazing, very spacious room with brilliant view of sea (very close, only 1 hotel in between). Great facilities, plenty of clean towels, a fridge, kettle with some teas and coffee. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty to choose from. Bus terminal just across the road and supermarket 5 mins away. Staff very friendly and spoke English

Monica at reception is wonderful, easy check in and great welcome. The room was a suite, sea view on floor 8. No balcony but tilt and turn windows which let in a nice breeze The pillows were a bit soft but ok. The beach was a 2 minute walk, Vilamoura a 20 minute walk Breakfast was good

Booked a room for 3 which was a listed as a double bed and single bed what we got was a cramped room with one bed. The bedding was disgusting a shabby old quilt with no cover just a sheet either side of it . I would not stay here for free if it was offered we were duped by incorrect untruthful listing

Beautiful weather. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels daily. Breakfast really good.

One easy block from the beach and well located to explore the Algarve from end to end. The room had a mini fridge and fairly large for Europe.

Nice hotel with great staff. Brilliant location right on the beach and next to the bus stop that takes you to the airport. Breakfast was varied and of decent quality.

Really close to the beach! Decent sized room with a nice air conditioner that really cooled me down after a day on the beach. Restaurants within 3 minutes of walking distance from the hotel.

It's not that there was anything wrong with the Quarteirasol per se, its just that the room I was given bore no resemblance to the room I was expecting from the picture on the Hotels.com booking page and on the hotel's own website. Had I been expecting a small dark room then I would have got what I expected. However the first two photos showed a Standard Seaview Double
to be a bright room with a large balcony (the fourth, after a picture of the bathroom, showed a smaller room but I didn't go that far). I went back to the desk and asked for a room with a balcony but there was none available for the first 2 nights of my 4 night stay. The reception guys Gabriel and Diago were lovely but the website is misleading. I ended up with a room with a tiny balcony. Luckily i was alone because the room itself was so small that it was difficult to get around the bed and there was only one chair.
On a more positive note the breakfast was fine and the swimming pool was lovely.
I would happily stay here again but I would have much lower expectations next time.

It was a perfect relaxing visit It was very reasonably priced . Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Very chilled vibe. Great location excellent weather. I event trued the oool. Clean and not too chilly. Overall fantastic!

A great area to stay in and a good sea view room. Good buffet breakfast. The only downside was the fact that we overlooked a derelict hotel as well as the lovely sea view!

It's a good-sized apartment, with a partial sea view. What I didn't like was the bathroom door, which has glass, and if it is turned on at night, it lights up the entire room and wakes up the other person. The same is true for the air conditioning display, which is strong and illuminates the room. But the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious and varied.
