This hotel is fine. It's not luxurious, nor should one expect that at the price point offered. The location is great, as one can walk to the beach or Jetty Park in a couple of minutes.

We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway. We were excited about swimming in the pool. But upon arrival the pool looked cloudy and had a tun of stuff in the bottom and no water movement. With us working in the pool business we tested it and the chemicals were not is a safe range. For the price and if I would have known the pool would be in this condition I would have booked elsewhere. The room was clean. The tub needs some grab bars and anti slip in the tub. The shower head leaked and didn't work well. If you allow pets you need to make sure that pets are kept quiet. We were woken up a few times by a dog barking down the hall. I mostly likely will book a different hotel in this area next time I visit.

We had the beach view so it was nice; but the hotel overall is not kept real well. The pool isn’t maintained. You stay here for location and cost.

The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. place was very clean even tho she is an older place, i felt comfortable...little knocks and fan whirls but thats normal for a GREAT BEACH PLACE. I will go back and highly recommend this spot to my friends who need a quick beach get away!!!! Thank you for being so welcoming and easy!!

Very friendly staff always happy to assist! Great location that was safe and close to many pubs, museums, restaurants and the ocean. Easy parking.

We stayed here for a week. Staff are awesome and super friendly. Room was very clean. The rooms are old and some things need repair. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully they make some repairs to the rooms.

We stay at Royal Inn at least once per year. It’s pet friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The close location to the jetty/beach and surrounding restaurants is very convenient. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and the pool is clean. The only issue we had was the hotel’s phone lines were down so we weren’t able to contact them prior to checking in. Otherwise, great stay as usual.

This place might have been ok at one time, but it is dirty, moldy, and nasty now. No ocean views, run down and dangerous. The stains on the couch/bed and chairs was disgusting. No matter what don't stay here it is probably a health hazard. There are many other great places to stay that are spotless for about $30 more a night.

The room was dirty, the bathroom was gross, and the balcony was unusable with a rusty, broken chairs that was a safety hazard. The dresser drawers were also broken. This hotel was a huge disappointment and not worth the money, yet they charge a resort fee!!! Avoid at all costs.

Clean but dated. Doors and AC might need to be looked at. Pool is amazing! Staff is great.
