We were traveling through and really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Check in was a breeze and it was conveniently located. The hotel and our room were very clean, which we really appreciated. After a long day of driving, we rested comfortably in our cozy room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I reserved the room on Expedia and paid full amount for my 2 night stay. When I checked in I was asked for a credit card and was charged again for the full 2 night stay. I didn't realize this until a got home. I called the hotel and had them email me a receipt. The amount was different than the expedia bill so I checked my credit card and found I was charged twice. I called back to have the manager call me. Other than billing problem the stay was fine.

Front desk was very unorganized employee that waited on me was trying to do a million things at once. Apologized to me and said I’ve been up for over 24 hours. Took 10-15 mins before he even noticed we were at the counter. The lady that was working with him later on glared at me every time I went thru the lobby.

We checked in and received a friendly greeting. The room was the normal size but had a full sized refrigerator with ice maker in a mini kitchen. Two burner electric stove, full size coffee pot, sink and under cabinet microwave.

We stayed at My Place in Altoona, IA. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered pizza to the hotel and staff offered us plates to use. The rooms were clean. We felt safe and overall it was quiet. When booking, the site said there was breakfast provided. When arriving, we were told that breakfast was not provided because there is not a kitchen on their site. This was disappointing for my niece and nephew. There are not ice machines on the floors, but an ice maker in each individual freezer in the rooms. This is nice, but it takes time to make around 6 ice cubes. So, if you like a lot of ice, bring your own. There is a gas station right next door, which was convenient. They do not offer conjoining rooms. This was fine for us, but something of note.

My child and I did not sleep. Regardless of having the fan continuous, or using a sound machine, the person/people above us stomped, ran, and JUMPED from before midnight and are still going at 4:45 am. No matter how many times I called the front desk, the noise continues. I'm pretty sure we would have had a quieter night in the car.

The door would not lock. Had several times where random people walked into our room before they realized that it wasn't their room.

During a multi day stay, I expect a made bed, clean towels, & coffee pot refreshed. This should happen automatically, but since Covid, it doesn’t. It has to be requested. Customers do not receive reduced pricing but services are certainly reduced!

Way overpriced for what you get. The bed was advertised as a queen...it was definitely a full size bed, although it was clean and comfortable. But definitely not as advertised. The air smelled weird throughout the entire hotel, and in the room. No continental breakfast included for $170 per night was not good.

Clean and pet friendly. The room was perfect for our needs and I would have stayed more days there if needed. Quiet environment.
