We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel so conveniently located at the gates of The Old City. The reception was quick and friendly, room spotless, breakfast for 9 Euros a piece well worth the money as it was abundant and delicious.

Based just within the town wall. Lovely area on your doorstep. Within easy reach of Jewish quarter and main square. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only problem was a snapped bed leg that happened after the receptionist had left for the night, so had to sleep on a mattress on the floor for the night. Receptionist on checkout was very apologetic and helped to fill in the form. Just waiting to hear back from them. Other than that, which I am guessing is not a regular occurrence, a basic double room with much needed air conditioning in toledo during the summer. That is all we needed and would recommend it to others in the future.

The YIT Puerta Bisagra has a great location just inside the city walls. Our room was simple and compact but very clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent quality and very good value at 9 Euros.

The room was the size of a closet, could hardly open a suitcase. Not as represented on the hotel.com site. The air conditioning was not in service, the room smelled of cigarettes and a live roach, parking was a hike to a public parking with no security in site. Just some drunk guys asking for money as we walked out.
Bottom line, this is an overpriced terrible property

Likes - location, close to the center of old town and bus service. Staff was very friendly.
Dislikes - room and shower were extremely small, barely room to move. We have stayed in eight cities in Spain this year and this room was the smallest by far. AC only blew extremely hot air (set by hotel). Very noisy.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Would 100% return, especially for the price and location. Only downside was rooms do not have curtains that keep the light out, so my blindfold came in handy. Traffic/outside noise did not wake me up until 7am and it was pretty quiet outside throughout the evening/night

Good option in Toledo. Very nice staff and great location. You can either walk into town or have close access to one of the escalators.

The bathroom had a terrible stink, the mattress and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Beds and towels were very clean; walls and ceilling so so. Air conditionning wasnt working properly in our room at least (during night, room temperature was about 24-26oC).

Friendly, characterful and good value. Quirky, tasteful, spacious en-suite bedroom. In need of a little freshening up but good at the price. And the AC was fully functional and much appreciated.
