Luckily there is a shuttle that takes you to the Sanur Strip, otherwise, the hotel would be isolated. The menu is very poor and the breakfast is uninspiring. The pool area is really nice and it's possible to get sun or shade. Helpfull service.

We stayed for a week. Everything about the time we spent at the hotel was 5star. Breakfast is excellent, by the pool. The swimming pool is lovely and calm. there were sunbeds available everyday. We got a Gojek in the evening to go to a restaurant. There's a couple close by that are good for lunch but much more choice in Sanur itself. Staff were exceptional, room thoroughly cleaned every day.

The Alantara Sanur has fantastic service and food. I really appreciated that the breakfast food changed day to day, it was also delicious. We also had dinner at the resort twice, once with their set menu for the busker night. The resort offered a free shuttle to go down near the beach for free, but we ended up using Grab to go to some places we found for dinner and happy hour which was very cheap. We rode to the resort via hotel arranged transportation and went back to the airport using Grab as well. This hotel has a program where they teach (?) or allow students to get hospitality experience, which it seems that the staff are incredibly attentive. The hotel is family friendly in general, although the pool area is fairly small (maybe ~ 30 people comfortably?) so two families with kids kind of takes up a lot of space. It’s a beautiful area though and my mom and I spent a lot of time in the pool. I didn’t personally think the rooms were that clean, the sheets and pillows seem old and have a yellowish tint to them and had small stains and the shower water smelled a little bit, though my mom didn’t seem to care.

Breakfast had many options that changed daily and the pool was lovely.
A shuttle into the centre for free is a nice touch and yes the hotel isnt central but a taxi cost the equivalent of £1.20 and was worth it for the peace, quiet and safety.
If we ever passed through Bali again, this is where we'd stay

We especially enjoyed the noodle soup and all the different juices and fresh fruits that were available. The pool was a great way to relax and cool off, although it gets somewhat crowded during the day, so we mostly visited in the early morning or evening. The hotel definitely seems safe and is in a quiet area. You can easily get a Grab pickup, so there are no issues with getting around, and there are restaurants within walking distance for variety.

The resort is beautifully manicured. The overall size was small enough to feel cozy. I like this feature more than really large resort. From my room to the pool and restaurant is literally a few steps away.

Love the Alantara, lovely small resort, staff are just beautiful, gardens lovely, pool nice. Only drawback is area, can’t walk to shops or restaurants, but easy to just call taxi. Will go back

Great staff and food. I liked being away from the everyday Bali hustle and bustle but near enough to go there when I wanted to. The room was excellent and facilities were excellent.

Pros: Very good price, you get luxury environment for your money. Staff is very kind, the pool is warm and nice, breakfast is delicious. Shower gel and shampoo smells really good, the air condition is very good.
Cons: The wifi was very bad for us especially in the room. Sometimes our room had a bad smell, automatic air fresheners could be placed in the rooms.
Others complained about the location of the Hotel, we think that it's close to the city, but unfortunately you have to go through the highway which is dangerous. I think the provided free shuttle service is very good and if you miss that you can use Grab, for only 1-2 USD you can get back to the hotel after you visited the city.

We liked this property and the attentiveness of staff. It's not in a very convenient area and it's pretty far from any beach or attractions. Worked well for home base to scuba out of a Sanur dive operation.

It was too far from anywhere and their shuttle only went every 2 hpurs, should go hourly and where they drop you isnt great they should have more than 1 stop.

Value for money and how lovely the hotel is compensated for it being out of the main area. There is a free hotel shuttle into Sanur. Would definitely stay here if you’re looking for value for money, we found the walk into Sanur added to our experience.

This property is truly a hidden gem. Staff was super inviting and warm. All helpful and seemed genuinely happy. The food at the restauraunt for breakfast lunch and dinner was great! Would stay again.
