Welcome at Reception and friendly staff. Well situated or exploring Totnes. No hotel parking but staff were able to advise on parking very close to the hotel and avoidance of parking fines.

An interesting hotel historic charming and old fashion decor but this made it homely and interesting for us. Room very clean and comfortable. We took our dog and had special rooms. A quiet nights sleep no sound of any other dogs. Kitchen looked very clean and staff very willing to help. Hotel in middle of town of Totness, but no undue noise.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 day break at the Royal Seven Stars in Totnes. We had a wonderful time. The hotel and staff were lovely. Good food and great selection of wines. The bar was frequented by visitors and locals which made a great mix with very friendly locals making us feel very welcome.

Got there just after check in opens to find no parking spaces and very difficult to park on the busy high street to unload. Ended up parking in Morrisons car park and paying for what was advertised by the hotel they have free parking !

We stayed one night B&B. Great location, nice pub atmosphere, lovely friendly helpful staff! Sadly the room was old, tattered and in need of refurbishment. It was not what we were expecting from the picture. Also, hot water tap not working in the bathroom. The breakfast was okay, but not freshly cooked.

Excellent location for exploring the town. Only a short walk to the station. Nice room and very comfortable bed. The staff were fabulous.

Lovely hotel in historic, quirky building with original features. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Good breakfast and lovely bar area that had a traditional pub feel about it. Spacious bedroom/bathroom with good facilities.

Very much enjoyed our recent stay, staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean with nice array of teas and coffees. We booked for breakfast which I would recommend and the hotel is conveniently located on the main high street near lots of restaurants and bars and 15 mins walk from the station.

Pleasant little room,we did ask for a quiet room but that never happened,the window couldn't close and the dray in the morning woke us up,as we have our own pub we were trying to get a bit of rest but unfortunately not .food was ok,staff could have been more friendly to looking after the diners.overall not too bad apart from getting woken up early in the morning.

Morrisons had loads of spaces and only charged £2.60 for 24 hours - so very reasonable and easy. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food was good. The cooked breakfast was lovely. The twin room we had was quite generic and the bathroom was small, but it was clean, well equipped and with Elemis products. The bed was rather too hard for me and the pillows were so so. We could hear the two people in the next room chatting until the early morning, but luckily this doesn’t really bother us and we still got a good night sleep. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel as the location in Totnes is perfect. We will hopefully stay here again next time.
