The rooms were comfortable but there was only one chair which was at a desk, windows unable to open, no fans,
no balconies...no means of getting fresh air into room.
It did have a delightful observation deck next to the beach which we utilized. Also, in order to have internet, we had to join the Marriott group. Also, no recycling so we brought our recyclables home to recycle.

Hot breakfast and baked goods not great. Not a lot of choice and not fresh bakery.
Larger towels for the beach/pool area would have been good.
Although we did have an ocean view it could only be seen at an angle and was obscured by buildings!

The lady at the desk not so helpful or friendly. The hotel room was not clean. False eyelashes stuck to a clip board, tape all over the ceilings, floors dirty and smelled. We have stayed here last year and was so much better that visit.

Great option for a short stay. The breakfast was excellent. The kitchen space in the room had everything we needed. Nice alternative to renting a house for the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was located centrally and we found that very convenient. The beach access was a great extra. Room was clean but we didn't have any housekeeping services during our stay.

Our room was clean and at a good location. Love that I was able to bring my fur babies. Staff was able to help us with a late check out for the day.

This is our third visits since it first opened its doors in the summer of 2019. Property is well maintained as rooms and common areas are still as I first remembered it to be. Loved the outdoor pool area as it is our first time using it since our last visit in 2021. Will come back again!

The place needs upkeep, many room walls needed cleaning or repainting, Furniture showed many signs it wear. Outdoor locks were broken.
Breakfast’s crew was slow to refill empty containers or empty garbage cans.
There is only one elevator for the whole building, we chose to walk the stairs since it’s too inconvenient to get to the elevator.
Not enough carts for the guest belongings.
I expected better for the money we spent.

I like the hotel overall but the beds and pillows weren't comfortable and the walls are super thin. You can hear people speaking in the room next to you. There was a heavy walker above us and this person kept walking back and forth for much of the evening into the night. The shower wasn't that strong and the shower door's seal was coming loose. I liked the two pools and access to the beach but because of the thin walls and being able to hear everything around you, I wouldn't stay here again if I came back to OBX.

I always enjoyed staying here and the staff is always helpful. The room was clean but the shower head in the bathroom was held together by duck tape. I am not sure why this was not fixed before giving us the room.
