Great location to see a show at the Granada.

Super cool and unique stay. The area around is busy as its located at KU but it was easy to navigate. I felt incredibly safe while there as a solo traveler! Highly recommend and if I end up in Lawrence again, I know where I will stay!

I have wanted to stay here for years. Finally got the chance on a business trip. The hotel was built in 2010 and is starting to show some age. But, overall was nice. The big issue I had was that the door to my room did not open/close easily (nor the bathroom). Like the floors had shifted. That, in and of itself, wasn't a huge ordeal until I left one morning for a few hours, and when I came home found my door open. Housekeeping had come and cleaned the room (and cleaned it well) but must have just assumed the door wouldl close on its own. Fortunately, nothing was missing. But I had a lot of valable things (that don't fit in a safe) sitting out. It was cool to finally stay their. The views from the rooftop bar area are amazing.

The front desk staff is kind and helpful. Beautiful historic hotel with modern rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Property is very pretty and right there at KU. Parking is at $20/night.

My husband says it wasn't very clean, the room we stayed in wasn't the room we believed we had paid for, and the room was an overall let down.

Great place to stay during Kansas event with my college student. It also has parking garage included.

The staff is always friendly and helpful with a great bar to grab a bite and a drink in the lobby.

The views from our room and 5th floor terrace were nice. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Downsides - windows were dirty, bath mat frayed, not sure how well housecleaning is performed we found very old food in the fridge. Hallways were very hot and humid. Also if you offer a 5th floor terrace why were all the tables and chairs stacked up? There were about 5 couples up there enjoying the view and drinks but no place to sit or put our drinks down. Main floor bar was nice but staff spent most of their time serving off duty staffers and dancing rather than working on customers.

It was loud in my room —not sure if it was the mechanicals or what. Air conditioning was great and constant (which helped cut down on the noise). Restaurant was good and conveinent

Great location The cleanliness of common areas was lacking. The staff seemed bored. The bath mats were frayed - surely these can be replaced. The bedding was disgusting. I will never stay here again.
