Absolute perfection, I cannot recommend the Whittling House highly enough on every aspect. Breakfast was of the highest standard with exemplary service with a smile. Set in a small friendly community this is an excellent hotel choice, give it a go you will not be disappointed

The hotel was lovely and the town of Alnmouth was very nice too , food in the restaurant was very nice with good service. The only downside was the smell from the kitchen made its way into our room from the vents outside our window.

Excellent upscale hotel in a great location close to all amenities and perfect for a long weekend. The breakfast and evening meal were both very good.

Loved this hotel. I stayed in the king studio and it was beautiful. Lovely and clean, delicious sugar biscuits, friendly staff and a great location

Such an ideal spot to stop on our road trip! 2 minute walk to a beautiful coastline and lots of nice pubs to explore!
The hotel room was spacious, clean, comfortable, perfect for our family of 4. Nice tea and coffee facilities too. Breakfast the next morning was 10/10!

We booked a one night stay in August and were so pleased to have done so. Our arrival --early , was met with " cannot book in until 4pm" which was a disappointment and unusual . However at 4pm were greeted by very helpful staff who sorted out our faulty TV . Dinner was very good and breakfast also. A really good stay in a lovely hotel.

Cosy hotel in a wonderful location, with lovely, friendly staff! Food was also very tasty. Pillows a bit too firm for us.

We stayed here for one night and it was absolutely perfect. Room was beautiful with a very comfy bed, and a lovely bathroom too. Amazing breakfast - we had dinner in the hotel too which was lovely. Staff went above and beyond at all times. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

This was a last minute change of plan, the hotel is excellent. Parking for about 3-4 cars round the back, we were in an x-trail and there was a Disco Sport there but I think anything bigger might be a struggle.
Room was spotless, not much space for clothes if you were there for a while.
Staff were excellent, breakfast very good and the location is great. About 5 minutes walk to the beach
