Overall a great stay, but the bed was too hard for us to really enjoy our second night. Attempting to sleep on your side resulted in stiff shoulders and hips and our backs were stiff as well. Kind of sad to spend so much money on a hotel room that you don’t even look forward to sleeping in the bed at. We stayed there in the same category of room 5 years ago when it was under a different name and ownership and never had any issues with bed comfort.

What a wonderful place to stay! We truly enjoyed the grounds. My daughter had so much fun feeding the chickens, watching the llamas and walking in the garden. The breakfast was so yummy! It such a nice touch that they deliver it to your room every morning. Above all, the staff are the best! They were so accommodating and so nice to my daughter. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Mendocino Inn and Farm. Our Ocean View Jr. Suite was in the East Farmington room (in the Stevenscroft building). This room has a lot of windows and great light. We looked right out onto the amazingly beautiful garden and had a distant view of the ocean. The staff delivered a delicious breakfast to our door every morning, the king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the wood fireplace (which we used every night) was a treat. The bathroom, which is large, has a tiny stall (but the shower is nice). The wifi, as reported in some of the other comments, was sketchy and not always reliable. There is no refrigerator or microwave in this room, but both are located in a small kitchenette also in the building (handy but not very convenient). We wished for a larger table (the little round table in the room was quite small), and a shelf on which we might have placed belongings. The staff was extremely accommodating; the restaurant in the lodge building had some amazing pizza; and the grounds, complete with a trail to the beach, are gorgeous. Mendocino itself is quaint with a lot of good restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous dinner at Trillium – and be sure to eat outside at Patterson’s.

Stayed in a lovely room with a patio and a view of the bay. Windows overlooking the llamas every morning. Watching the morning fog roll in and hearing the birds singing. Super amazing. Our dogs have an awesome experience as well.

It is an amazing facility and everyone was very nice including the curious llamas roaming the fields. Breakfast is brought to the rooms and they were delicious. The outside looks worn like a farm should look... but the interior is first class for most respects. If I had to be picky... the bed was too low to the ground for me, the toilet was too tiny. Ok I'm 6 ft and 240lbs..but still.
The pluses...no tv, no phone, the minus no mini fridge in the room. Keeping white wine chilled was a challenge. But they did have ice. If you are planning to go... do it in the daylight...you'll never see the sign from the road at night. Cell service was touch and go. Would we come back... without hesitation. :)

Everything about our stay was superior, the grounds are very beautiful, our room was spacious and clean. They even brought breakfast to our door which was excellent. I would love to come back.

The alpacas were super cute and the chickens were fun to interact with, my wife and I had a really good time. Will be back again!

We had an amazing stay with family. The morning breakfast delivery was such a nice touch. The kids loved the llamas and chickens. Such a wholesome and wonderful experience for all of us.

We got a room cross street(CA-1) of the main property. No TV in the room, and WiFi was not stable. No dinning or room service. They only deliver a simple breakfast. Overall the price $5xx/night doesn’t match the quality. The staffs are friendly and helpful. But you can’t reach them before 9am and after 7pm…

This property is too expensive. You can do much better with other local properties. The light fixture in our bathroom has two bulbs that were burned out and did not have replacements. Breakfast is served in your room and they were late, which made our day askew. There were no coffee mugs in the main building for self-serve coffee, hence no coffee. I would not stay here again.

Amazing experience. Well run, beautiful, and amazing staff.
Feed the chickens and walk with the lama's.
Just don’t expect air condition, keep the windows open and it’s amazing.
