Aesthetic ambiance: The overall look and feel of the resort create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly lobby staf: The warm and welcoming lobby staff enhance the guest experience, their hospitality sets a positive tone upon arrival. The Bad: Hidden breakfast tips: Unfortunately, Aldea Kuka falls short when it comes to transparency. Charging tips (propina) for breakfast, which should be included in the room rate, is disappointing. Consumption oriented: The resort’s focus on consumption (especially tipping) can feel excessive. While tipping is not mandatory, it often feels like noblesse oblige—expected rather than optional. Thin Walls: The rooms suffer from thin walls, allowing every neighbor’s movement to echo through. Nice place on the quiet part of island. Reception had excellent communication on WhatsApp. The circus was great. Good breakfast was included!

If six stars was an option for service, I would give them a 6! Great place in a perfect location. Fantastic experience! Loved the hotel vibes - built in and around nature. The rooms are beautiful, simple, and very clean , have everything you need. There is yoga and breakfast every morning, both of which are fantastic. Every staff member is genuine and so kind. Absolutely amazing service and food. I felt very comfortable and relax during my stay.

Aldea Kuka is a beautiful botique hotel situated along Holbox beach. It is well maintained, staff are super friendly and attentive, and rooms are beyond spacious and roomy. The breakfast menu is exciting and full of delicious selection of western and mexican style food.

My third time in Holbox and second time at this resort and I must say this is a gem ! Great friendly staff, attentive, food is great. Great mix of peace and quiet and small 5-10 min max walk to town . Love Alda Kuka

This was our third time staying at this hotel. We have always loved it in the past but this time we booked a room with two beds because we had family traveling with us. The noise from upstairs was unbearable. We could hear the other occupants talking, screaming, moving furniture, and everything else. We would stay here again but not in one of these type of rooms.

We had a small vow ceremony with some friends. We organized a small dinner on the beach that turned out great. The staff actually went above and beyond. There provided service that we didn’t expect. In addition, the dinner set up they did was incredible. I’ll never forget it. I would definitely stay here again. The one think I would have liked to know ahead of time was the $1000 hold for incidentals, that was kinda is steep. Also be forewarned that you can head everything in your room and there is no insulation. Other than that. Perfect place.

This resort is absolutely stunning. Extremely luxurious whilst also feeling natural and relaxed. Our room was spacious with a large outdoor area. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Had a great time at Aldea Kuka! For us, we loved that it was a 15 minute walk from the town core and was very quiet in the evenings. The room was a bit strange as it had no chairs or tables, even on the balcony, but there were large cushions that were comfortable to sit on. The music during the day was repetitive and WAY too loud, but we had some noise cancelling earbuds, so we were all good from that standpoint. Breakfast was outstanding, staff were VERY helpful and kind, and the gym is an awesome addition that we used every morning!
