Location was great only couple blocks from train and Christmas markets. Plenty restaurants in area. Room very very small with small shower. The smell of curry or Indian food permeated the hallways whole hotel. I like Indian food but not to sleep with the aroma. Pillows not comfortable little to no bathroom accessories. However considering the price it was worth it. On a budget great place. If looking for comfort and elegant this is not the place.

Friendly staff and nice refurbished room.
Overall good but for over €200 a night I would expect a couple of improvements such as providing shower gel (only a shampoo/conditioner provided) and the drinking glasses in the room being clean (every single one was dirty).

It was a very pleasant stay for a night! Very close to the railway station and also the city center was easy to reach. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great. It can get noisy at night so I’d recommend to use earplugs. Otherwise no complaints!

Very nice classic European hotel with lovely details, friendly staffs, and convenient location. The only thing one could whine about is lack of bathroom ventilation, making taking shower quite a challenge in warm days. AC usually is not on my complain list when it's in Europe, but given construction outside, one has to shut the window to keep it quiet, making no AC a bit of issue.

A fantastic hotel with lot of old things in every public room and the staff was very helpfull. Great breakfast.
Only thing that failed was no AC in the room which we needed when it was over 30 degrees outside. Not an issue when visiting in autumn or spring.

Hotel has an interesting history and the man at the front desk, seemingly always there, day and night, embodies the adage, “Find work that you love and you will never work a day in your life.” I want to go back to Luxembourg City just to stay at the hotel again and cross paths with the man at the front desk.

I have booked two double rooms(one with double bed and one with two single beds) at the same price and although the room with two single beds was big and spacious with big bathroom as well ,the one with double bed was quite small with very small bathroom and shower.Floors were extremely squeaky so going to the bathroom quietly during the night was a challenge.Really noisy from the aeroplanes outside but luckily they stopped for the night.Staff started cleaning other rooms before 8am moving constantly furniture around and making a lot of noise.
Otherwise hotel is authentic,charming and well decorated.Breakfast was great.

Nice and clean hotel, very friendly staff and speak several languages (French, English, German). Also good breakfast. One minor point: no real airco in room, just a ventilator.

Great local hotel. Amazing, kind and friendly staff ( Joao & Tina were so welcoming!). Old and simple, yet well kept property. Yummy breakfast with made to order eggs. Great location, very close to public transportation.

The hotel is clean and really pretty inside. I was a bit disturbed about the noise and construction outside. I feel that we should have been informed that there would be a big street work right outside the hotel. The hotel location is not ideal either, but I blame myself for not checking that well. Overall ok stay. The front desk gentlemen was lovely!
