Located in the mountains, this welcoming apartment lets you experience it all in Akureyri. Jump into your car and make short work of the 4-minute drive to Forest Lagoon or the 6-minute drive to Laxdal House (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).
After you return, unwind in the rooftop private spa tub or sip a drink on the patio, and don't forget about the outdoor furniture. When you come inside, connect to the free WiFi or get cozy in front of the digital TV (streaming services available).
As you settle into the place, you'll find premium bedding, a BBQ grill, and dry cleaning/laundry services. In addition, there's a rainfall showerhead, along with towels, bathrobes, and shampoo. Our experience was incredible! The check in was simple and the location easy to find. The rooms are incredibly clean and well maintained, the hot tub was hot on arrival.
The views from the room are some of the best we have seen with snowy mountains and even got to see the Aurora! We couldn’t of asked for a better stay or experience.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room very nice, and the view was incredible! 10/10 would visit again

Nice stay. However, please empty garbage at leats every second day, especially when they are overflowing. Also, with four people staying un a unit at a time, you need to consider a few extra things.: 1) more dishes and cutlery, 4 of each is not enough. 2) places to hang clothing or towels....there is barely anything in the entire unit and certainly nothing in the room with twin beds. 3) put a mat of some sort near the deck door for when coming in from the hot tub. 4) more than 1 dishtowel, please. 5) more hangers and 6) more hooks near the entrance for coats please. We loved the lighting and the modern feel to the unit, but we were missing the basics to make the stay complete. There is nowhere to even place your luggage if you are not in the king size bedroom. Add tables or luggage holders please.

Nice apartment with hot pot. Got a view of northern lights from our deck. Comfortable bed, could use some decorations or wall art. Location was perfect for exploring the area.

Fantastic hotel- the best stay of our trip. Extremely comfortable space that has a great view of the mountains (and the northern lights at night!) and enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Gorgeous views. Very clean and functional unit. Hot tub on the back deck to watch the sunset is about as good as it gets. We loved the privacy and coziness of our cottage. Only complaint would be the flawed design of the bathroom sink faucet. And that isn’t even a complaint, more of a funny thing that whoever installed it didn’t quite think about how a long faucet with a super short sink don’t quite go together. Luckily there is a kitchen sink nearby you can wash your hands in.

Apartment is well-furnished with comfortable beds and sofa. Kitchen was well-stocked. Loved the comms around keys at check-in and check-out. This was the most amazing hotel we stayed at in iceland it is modern, beautiful, and convenient with all amenities you could think of. Comfort was 100% and beyond with this property and I wouldnt be surprised if they charge double down the line cause it was worth it! Cannot recommend this property enough!

Arguably our favorite stay on Iceland. Views of Akureyri at night and mountains during the day. They have a fully equipped kitchen and a hot tub so you can cook dinner and enjoy a hot tub soak after. The room was clean and there was a large TV and check in instructions were easy. I would stay here again. The only thing is that the shower did not drain well and if they added a towel rack or more shelves, it would elevate the space as there was virtually no counter space in the bathroom. The drive into Akureyri for restaurants was a short 5-7 minute drive. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent property; the best on our tour so far. Loved the hot tub and that robes were provided. Good kitchen facilities and comfy beds. So quiet! Only improvement would be to provide a drying rack for wet swimwear.

The stellar reviews for this property are mostly right. A large modern suite with a private balcony and hot tub with BEAUTIFUL views out over Akureyi and the fjord at approximately the same price that bought me very tiny rooms in other parts of Iceland. So all that is wonderful. But there were a few weird things. My check in instructions didn't arrive until around 3 a.m. my first night -- and manual check-in was a bit rough, with no one (at first) in the lobby at the adjoining hotel and confusion when I used the helpline provided. WiFi was great -- after I was first given the wrong code. And the cabin, while quite attractive, also had some weird smells because it was so new that there was still some paint and chemical odors in places. Also, a few weird design elements, like a bathroom sink whose faucet extends to the end of the basin, meaning water goes everywhere when you use it. All that said, this is an amazing place to stay that marks incredible value for Iceland.
