We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was very comfortable! The bed was nice, and the room was very spacious. It had all the amenities we needed, and the room temperature was great. The tv has streaming services available, which was perfect for our family. And the view is incredible! We loved our stay, and were very happy with our choice. The town of Vik is lovely as well!

Our experience here was quite nice. It was cold and a little foggy, but when the skies opened up the views were quite magnificent. I highly recommend just going to the Bonus Store or some other grocery store to cook as their kitchen facilities were quite nice. They make good cocktails, but the prices for food were a little high, so again, great for cooking in your own room. Also has electric chargers if you are driving an electric vehicle.

The room is well furnished with sufficient space and facilities. The view is amazing towards the Black Beach, exactly same as the photo.
The lighting system in the room is not sufficient for my family. Even when you turn on all the lights, you get only dimmed light. I know this is more in fashion, but not quite practical.

The bedroom floor was so dirty that my son got his bare feet turned black.
No heater in the bathroom.
Once requested, we had some cleaning and a portable heater, but paying more than 350 usd for that is totally incredible.

Loved it! One of our favorite places on our 10 night road trip. The view is beautiful. Having a kitchen and deck was also nice. Good location about 10 minutes from Vik.

Our stay was fabulous! The setting is spectacular. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very quiet. Easy to find. Just gorgeous! We got to see the Aurora Borealis finally.

We were in Vik for one night, and stayed at the Black Beach Suites. I was very excited as we’d heard great things about this hotel and spent a good deal of money to stay at such an upscale place. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but we had no water or power the entire evening. The whole town of Vik was out apparently. Staff did what they could to accommodate but we couldn’t really enjoy our room or any of the amenities. The hotel did not offer any kind of discount. It was a bummer.

We liked the property and location. The place was a bit dark. We wish there was more lights or brighter lights in the room. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was awesome. Love the high ceiling. Was hoping for outdoor furniture on the beautiful deck to sit and enjoy the view. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a very beautiful room with a great view. It was comfortable, clean and well designed. They had a kitchenette and the bathroom is very nice.
Note that they are listed as being in Vik but they are not. Google map says they are in Nordurfoss and it's actually 7.5 km from Vik so keep that in mind. To us that was the only downside as we had hoped to stay in Vik.

Great site not far from black beach. Had a great kitchenette so could cook up breakfast and prepare a lunch so as to be gone all day. Very quiet. Gave us access to multiple sites within 2 hours. Only negative was lighting in bathroom for makeup. Would highly recommend this site when in Iceland.

Very convenient and comfortable hotel in an amazing location in Vik and adjacent to beautiful black beach. The only issue was that we couldn’t understand how to use electric burner that was different from standard burners like these elsewhere and there was no complimentary coffee and sugar which is not acceptable for such an expensive hotel and is a standard amenity in lower standard hotels. Even at the reception, which is in a different building from the suites the coffee that is offered is not free of charge so with no breakfast that should be the minimum complimentary offer included in amenities . Besides we had a vwonderful stay at the hotel and the staff were very helpful
