Don’t stay here if you are looking for a restful sleep. Disturbed every night by rowdiness and speeding cars. The room only allowed for a double bed pushed against the wall making it difficult to get in and out of bed, worth noting if you have mobility issues. On arrival it was obvious that condiments had not been replenished, had to chase up for tea bags and milk.

They had music on, but the room we had was not bothered by it.

The band were great but not so good when we needed to wake up early to be at an event. Would have been nice to know about this beforehand as we likely would have booked somewhere else. Was a struggle to park at times, but parking was free. Overall this was a nice little pub, but not somewhere I would stay again.

Having traveled to over 50 countries, this was by far the worst hotel I've stayed at within this price range. The bathroom had mold, the walls were stained, the windows were broken, and the toilet seats were loose, among other issues. Although the staff were kind, the facilities were severely lacking. I am very disappointed!

The dinner in the pub was amazing (try fish&chips with homemade chips on Fry-Day) and we had a fun evening playing pool and air hockey, whereas the room is mediocre (you pay what you get) with several flaws but ok for a night. Our room (Nr. 3) was above the pub’s kitchen so that it was really hot I the room. We had a loud fan which didn’t really help and the windows didn’t stay open. The toilet seat is much too small for the toilet so that you sit on the cold porcelain. The bed stands with one side against the wall such that one person has to crawl over the bed. The room could definitely need renovation as for example the walls have many spots of spilled drinks or similar. The staff was really nice and welcoming so that it was fine for one night (for that price).

I cut my shoulder on the sharp corner of the projecting shelf holding the set top box. I could not get the coffee machine to work and there were no instructions. There was no kettle. The pillows were worn out. The room is too small even for the small double bed installed. The room is overpriced.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The staff we encountered were very helpful and polite. Sadly no chef so limited food availability. However I am told that this is a problem in many hotels and b and bs. I would happily stay again though as the room was lovely.

This hotel should be at best a 2 star hotel. Very noisy at night. Towels in room had stains and were pretty threadbare. The bathroom had mold in places around the shower. The interior was extremely dirty. Need full update. Duvet on bed appeared to have oily stains. When we ask about the available breakfast, we were told no one was there to cook until 11:00 am. Definitely would not recommend.

Was staying onsite for work for a few days. Nice comfortable room, large bathroom, great shower. Will certainly be staying here again.
