The hotel and staff were excellent. The main issue is the hotel location as it was not "walkable" to "town" and taxi service was generally unavailable. Parking at the hotel was available a block away, but parking in town was almost impossible to find.

Wonderful property with gorgeous views of Lake Como! Nice, quaint villa to escape for a few days and relax.

The hotel setting was beautiful and the pool area overlooking the lake is really the selling point. There is a jetty and staff can arrange for you to be collected there for a boat trip around the lake. And there are two kayaks for use by hotel guests. We stayed in a partial lake view room (which was the only room type available at the time of booking). I would say the room was very small and we were next to the lift so a little noisy. If booking again, and I hope to do so, I would definitely book one of the larger rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake. We also ate in the restaurant and had the tasting menu which was excellent.

We had 3 in our room but were only given slippers and dressing gowns for 2 , the used toiletries weren’t automatically replaced , the toilet flush didnt work properly and the shower was very small . Our room had grossly inadequate lighting , after 2 days this was finally sorted and begs the question why it wasn’t Ok in the first place . We found the breakfasts rather limited , there was no granola or muesli and the fruit juices were diluted and sweetened , as they were when you bought a drink by the pool. Finally the parking wasn’t great we weren’t told about further parking until the second day .

We had an amazing two night stay at Villa Vittoria. The hotel has excellent location, loved the view from our room. A bottle of champagne was waiting for us in the room upon arrival. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Only downside was the slow internet access (but 4G works fine) and when we had dinner on our arrival night the staff in the restaurant seemed a bit confused and stressed. Had it not been for these two things I would give it max points. Its really a nice place and we will for sure go back.

Room facilities were clean and comfortable. Excellent dinner menu and quality food. Breakfast buffet choices were satisfactory but limited. With such a strong kitchen we would have liked a choice of eggs made to order for example. An enjoyable stay for a couple of nights but far surpassed at a 28 bed hotel in Locarno for the next four nights which was out of this world......at comparable prices.
