This is a lovely, well appointed and clean hotel in a great location for sight seeing in Tirana. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings and it was a reasonable price and the service was good. It's just off the busy main road so it's very quiet at night. The only thing they could improve on,and it's hardly worth mentioning but there are very few power points in the room. We thought the staff were all very helpful, professional and welcoming.

Gated parking available half a block away for 5 euros per night - must let the hotel know you require parking in advance to reserve a spot. Hotel is somewhat difficult to find, as it's tucked behind the main street, down an alley. Very close to City Centre and local attractions/restaurants/shops.

We very much enjoyed our stay here that we booked only to be close to the airport for our early morning flight. Really friendly and helpful staff, amazing pool and great airport shuttle service. The only bummer is that the sauna was out of service. But overall: would highly recommend this hotel.

IF you are from the UK DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. The air con was not working in our room. We are from the UK so are not used to such high temperatures. We asked for help from the reception which were rude. They feebly attempted to fix the issue but could not, they said they could not offer us another room and said 'good luck' and left. We were exhausted and could not sleep the whole night. We had come for a wedding so being so tired was not ideal as we looked terrible. Then the lady at the desk was so rude to us in her cold, smirking attitude when we said we couldn't sleep the whole night. She said that this is a normal issue in Tirana and cant be helped. She then said the hotel does not offer compensation. Her rudeness and her smile at not being able to help us is unacceptable. Albania is becoming a tourist destination and if this hotel wants tourists to stay with them, they need to learn basic customer service. The food was also disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Great hotel in central Tirana, just a short walk from 9 Katëshet but still quiet. Clean, modern, and comfortable. Room was a bit smaller than expected and missing a few small niceties like glasses, but was really good value for money. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Starlight. I didn't shop around much, so I can't speak to the value compared to competitors in Tirana. But I felt like I got my money's worth without a doubt. My room was large, clean, and modern. I had a great view of the city and a balcony which was nice. The A/C worked really well which was a lifesaver because it was extremely hot outside. I didn't interact with the staff a ton, but when I did they were friendly and professional. The neighborhood felt safe to me and it was very walkable to get to the main square and surrounding attractions. There are several corner stores with cheap water, snacks, etc. on the same block. Maybe if I had one tiny area for improvement it would be that the shower was hard to get the temperature right.
