Stayed at the Hotel Mediterrani for a week at the end of August. Check in was quick and easy and although we arrived mid morning, we were given our room within 30 minutes of arrival. The room was clean and well presented and although it didn’t have a sea view, it had daylight from an internal courtyard.
We booked bed and breakfast and there was a good selection of hot and cold items. Oat milk was available.
The Hotel Mediterrani has an outstanding location, right above the beach and the view from the dining room is beautiful. It was also nice having drinks and coffee on the terrace with lovely views over the sea.
The centre of Calella de Palafrugell is an easy walk from the hotel, although uphill on the way back and there are steps to negotiate down to the beach, so not ideal for those with mobility problems.
Thanks for a great stay, for loan of beach chairs and umbrella and for our picnic breakfast when we needed to depart early.

Located in quiet part of the promenade which was very important. Nice clean room. WIFI didn’t work in the room but the front desk was able to reset the router. Breakfast was great! Plenty to choose from. One negative is that the hallways echo- can hear doors opening and closing very loudly at night. Recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Meditarrani. The location is stunning and the views are unbeatable. The beach is right out the door (just note it’s a good amount of stairs to access). The staff was really lovely and accommodating. We were traveling with a toddler and they offered to let us store food and milk for her in their fridge. They were very willing to help with whatever we needed. The cleaning person even altered the cleaning schedule to accommodate my child’s nap! The air conditioning didn’t get super cold, but there’s a very strong ceiling fan that worked well. I was a bit warm the first night during a heat wave, but comfortable after that.

The hotel is located right on the beach, in the quieter end of the town, so you could choose to walk to the busier more crowded end, or stay in the quiet part of town. Service at the hotel was great. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they have done an amazing job instituting safety protocols for COVID-19. The room was a tad small, but very well appointed and with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was great. Beach towels were provided for a nominal fee. I would love to come back to Calella de Palafrugell soon and stay once more at Hotel Mediterrani!

Wonderful small hotel. Property was beautiful! Clean rooms with wonderful balconies. Breakfast was delicious and worth doing. Nice little cafe outside.

Hotel was very nice, staff was super helpful and even told us a few spots they recommend. Hotel was clean and newer. The beach was only a few feet away. Plenty of great views.

Loved Calella de Palafrugell & would recommend without hesitation. Also would recommend hotel Medetterani but we strongly suggest paying the extra and getting a room with a view. We had a room in the back and whilst comfortable, it had no outlook and was a bit depressing - especially knowing that on the other side the outlook was amazing.

We stayed here for a couple of nights early September. The hotel staff were really friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent too. I really feel this hotel should have another star, it was brilliant and I would happily book accommodation here again.
