This is a beautiful historical building. The lobby is stunning. I loved my robe!!
The cons: pool was freezing, hot water in tub didn’t work, only one elevator was working.

Stayed on the 11th floor this time. Little by little this hotel has upped its game by restoring nearly every floor. The hotel has a elegant feel to it. The free parking is now new and controlled by your room key.

Perfect. Just perfect. A little bit of heaven in a tiny Texan town. Giant room, very clean, very nice staff. Amazing pool area!
The only small thing was that the breakfast wasn’t included in the room price.

Excellent services. Beautiful restored hotel.
Everything you need: dining, bar, pool, hot tub, wonderful rooms, huge shower, clean, comfy, quiet.
Like the layout of the superior double queens! Definite place to mark on our travels!

On first glance the hotel is lovely. But my room had the following:
1. Blood-stained sheets
2. Lamp shade next to the bed was in rags
3. A sharp carpet tack sticking straight up out of the carpet next to the bed.
Additionally, this was a room with BRIGHT flood lights directly outside the windows. The light was impossible to keep out of the room. Had I been staying longer than one night I would have changed rooms.
At checkout I brought all of these issues to the attention of the hotel staff. She assured me that I would be getting an apology and a partial refund when the manager arrived at 2 PM! The Settles is the most expensive and historic hotel in the region. Sadly, it is NOT worth the money.

A great nastalgic hotel refurbished so nicely. It was really that to stay here at the Settles Hotel in Big Spring where I was raised.

It was a really neat surprise the stay was awesome! Great Service Rooms were enormous everything was great we will be staying their every time we are in Big Spring!
