The Resort is nicely located on the waterfront. However rooms look at the carpark.
There is a restaurant in walking distance and it is close to the Maria Island ferry.
The room is without ambience and everything is basic.
We found sticky floor, sticky bed side table, sticky and dirty refrigerator with leftovers, really dirty toilet (better not to describe the details). The feedback to the receptionist lead in an unfriendly answer and her concern was more to close before 5 p.m. than identify solutions. Thus it is not worthwhile the money.
After 3 weeks of very different hotels in Tasmania this was definitely the worst experience

The room was clean & comfortable but had no soap holder or toiletries holder in the shower. It also had no window covering on the 3 window's above the door and lower window so as soon as it was light the room was flooded with light making it impossible to sleep. I did talk to the receptionist about this.

Amazing place to stay and would definately visit again. Great food at the restaurant both in vale and flavour. Oysters were amazing

Super easy check in. The woman working reception was an absolute delight. It was safe and quiet. I would stay here again.

There was unfortunately only one issue we had which was the heating wasn't enough for the 2brm cabin and was very cold

Lovely scenic spot. Room was well set up , clean and bed was very comfortable. Didn’t used the options for kids entertainment but would be happy to bring the grandkids back next holidays. Restaurant meals and staff were great.

Good location if taking Maria Island tours but not much else around. No breakfast facilities when we stayed (mid March) closed due to being out of season and restaurant hours cut back too
