Truly an amazingly clean and comfortable Comfort Inn. The women taking care of the breakfast area make sure the dining tables are sparkling clean and the buffet is well-stocked. The indoor pool was quiet and well-maintained. Plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, as well as a movie theater directly behind the hotel. I highly recommend this property to anyone going to the Ellijay area.

Customer service at the front desk was not pleasurable at all from check in throughout the stay except tge staff member at the breakfast area. She was wonderful!!! The staff member that checked us in was apparently not wanting to be at work. The night shift were less than helpful.

The hotel itself was fine. Good even. But during breakfast I was completely floored by the person running it. She was loud with her casual racism and negativity about everyone that she worked with. North Georgia has come too far for that to be anyone else’s takeaway. It’s a poor reflection on the hotel and the area.

My husband and I have lived in Ellijay for 16 years , as it has changed so much and got busier we decided to sell up and move , this we did .
We needed to go back to Ellijay to sign papers, go to the bank , the normal things when you move .
On arrival at the hotel I went to check in , the usual ID was asked for which has my details ……I was then asked for a further $250 as security as I hadn’t had time to change my address on my driving license and I was told by the receptionist I was still classed as local .
On reception is a sign stating if you live within 30miles of the hotel you have to pay this deposit in case of damages to the room on departing!!!!

We were greeted with a high sense of hospitality that just isn't seen very often these days. Much thanks to Carolyn, Candy, and Lorretta for making us feel at home and accommodating our need of an extra bed for our room.
Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast choices the hotel had to offer.
