The night we checked in the kid at the desk barely spoke English and didn't know how to divide 2 night's stay so my boyfriend and I could split the cost. I had to operate the calculator because the clerk couldn't. Then the next morning, the manager told my boyfriend that he wanted to move us to another room because I had a service dog and he didn't know about it even though I told the first clerk that didn't speak English, the night before. And he was going to charge us for my dog! His tune changed when I walked my dog with his service vest on, into the office and started telling him the law. Then he decided that we could stay in our original room. Oh, and soundproof room means there are ear plugs left by the tv. When we left the manager took the keys and opened the window to air the room out and waved his hand like the room smelled and did that right in front of us!! I will never stay here again.

I have been here twice now and the room is clean and good for its purpose. I appreciate the owner and his welcoming demeanor

We were able to book a last minute room and came around midnight. Super quick check in. Room was very cute and clean.

The stay was nice. One of the male staff that checked me in was a bit creepy, but I survived the night. Bed was clean and comfortable. Hotel is within easy walking distance of beach.

I didn’t even stay. I wish I could have half of what I paid back. The staff was good. But the rooms are not anything as seen or as described on Expedia. It looks like a ran down motel 6. Broken appliances. The bathrooms and rooms look like lived in hotel rooms where people have stayed for a very long time and then someone comes and cleans them. It’s gross, I just used the room to change and went out for 4 hrs came back and checked out. The area is so sketch too. I would have paid more to stay somewhere cleaner and safer.

Lovely hosts who had great tips on what to see along the PCH, very easy check in and out. Walls are rather thin as in most places we’ve stayed in but the motel wasn’t fully booked so it was very quiet. Additionally, ear buds were provided as well. Grover Beach has a beautiful beach and you can walk all the way to Pismo along the water line.

The staff at check-in were super friendly, communicative and very helpful. We felt comfortable and can recommend the accommodation without any problems.

It was the cheapest we could find for the night. The guy checking us in was weird and not too friendly. It was an awkward check in. The room smelled so strong like a mix of bleach and pine sol. We had to run the air to clear it out. Other than that the place was clean. Quiet. Close to the dunes. I just probably would not stay here again.

Very clean and quiet place for a good value. I liked how they provided unique amenities like earplugs and makeup remover wipes. I wish they included lotion as my skin gets really dry, but it's not a big deal. I would stay here again!
