I had a great stay at Filon Hotel! For a 2-star, it exceeded expectations—super clean, in a safe area, and the staff were wonderful. The location is perfect, within walking distance to everything I needed. The bed was a bit firm, but given it’s a budget-friendly spot, I didn’t expect luxury. Most importantly, it was clean and I felt secure throughout my stay. Just a note: there are no safety deposit boxes in the room. Overall, a fantastic value for the price!

The Filon hotel at Pireus was ok. We booked it because it was cheap and we just needed a night's stay between a tour and getting on a boat early the next day. The staff were nice but the hotel was basic. The area was very noisy with pumping club music going all night nearby. For the cheap price it was ok but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

The Filon hotel at Pireus was ok. We booked it because it was cheap and we just needed a night's stay between a tour and getting on a boat early the next day. The staff were nice but the hotel was basic. The area was very noisy with pumping club music going all night nearby. For the cheap price it was ok but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

First off, the hotel itself was fine for a no-frills, budget friendly option. It was curious that their operating policy was to have guests return the room key to the front desk every time they leave the building and then retrieve it upon return. Wasn't really an issue, but it felt a little unnerving leaving all my stuff in the room without a key to retrieve it. But the bigger issue was the street noise, which I did read about in other reviews, but still wasn't prepared for. The club next door played loud music until 6am with a driving beat that easily penetrated the walls of this property. The result was NO SLEEP for the entire night, which kind of defeats the purpose of booking a hotel stay. It's too bad there isn't an enforced noise ordinance because this would have otherwise been a pleasant stay.

In a great location! Only 10 mins from the metro station which takes you straight to the airport and also to all the main attractions. Very close to the ferry port as well. Only issue was that the area itself didn’t have much to offer. Otherwise, our stay here was amazing and the staff was very friendly. I would absolutely stay here again

We only stayed one night here as we were going on a cruise the next day.. but the reason we found and stayed here was because it was strategically located near the port where the cruise ship was leaving from. But in the one night, I can tell you.. the staff was lovely and extremely helpful.. and the place was great. Can't beat it for the price!

Not bad, not great, very middle of the road.
Pros - Ok location, good sized room, great helpfull staff 24hrs, with working A/C.
Cons - Very hard mattress, like sleeping on plywood, bathroom was tiny and in a bit of disrepair, no kettle or fridge.
OK for the price and location, but could be better.

Room was small and super uncomfortable bed and the room had a pretty strong rancid stench that we tried to rid of with the ac but never really went away. Very close to the port so very convenient for what we needed for the night.

This hotel was great! It had restaurants super close by, the room was fairly clean, and it is close to the port if you are cruising. The only small complaint I have is the restroom needed a bit of attention. Also, on Saturday there was loud music from a club nearby. Not the hotel’s fault at all. They have complained to the club owner in the past.Other than that, everything was wonderful! The best part was one of the staff members, Constantina. She was the BEST! Super helpful! She has such a good heart! I would definitely stay here again.
