My husband and I had a great time at Blue Holbox. A horrible hurricane hit the island two days before we arrived. The staff did an extraordinary job to make the stay amazing. The resort is right across the road from the beach. The food and staff were awesome. We were walking distance from downtown.

This stay was beyond our wildest dreams!!! Felt like we were in a giant tree house!! Waking up to the sound of birds is awesome! Breakfast buffet was fabulous and a great restaurant with amazing drinks!!

This is a great place to stay. The beach here is much cleaner than the areas towards town with lots of seaweed. Staff is great. I will definitely stay here again

The room was dark and mosquito net had so many holes might as well not have one. When they charged me for the room they charged 72 dollars extra because of the exchange rate. I travel a lot and use expedia and this has never happened to me. They refuse to refund me and claimed it was their policy. They said I should discuss this with expedia. Food was just ok and drinks weren’t good either. I will never stay here again.

Property nice, but LOUD. Dirt road between lodging and beach full of golf carts and people all hours. Construction of cabins left lots of gaps for noise and wind to permeate. Food service was a struggle. Breakfast Buffet was never loaded, folks complaining - best option to order eggs-omelette as desired. Fried fish snack revealed bones that friend nearly choked on. All in, a nice property, close to town. First time visit, so did not know any better. Would look for property on the beach next time

Location of the beachfront bungalow is the positive part! Service is terrible - per whats app! Overall service super limited and not according to the high cost! Breakfast choice very limited and staff unfriendly. Overall not worth the cost!!!

Wonderful experience all around-the spacious room overlooked the ocean and had a lovely balcony - the breakfast was included and was a delicious buffet. The staff was so friendly and helpful with our return transportation - it was a great trip to Holbox made all the better by a perfect hotel.

We stayed in the older, garden view section. The accomodations are dated but nice bungalow style. Staff, especially Gustavo at the front desk, were very responsive to issues. Charlie, Roy and Damien, the waiters at the bar/restaurant, were awesome - engaging and fun. We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was awesome.

The reception staff has absolutely no idea what customer service is about. For starters, they did not help to have the reservation charge split into two different credit cards as requested, they gave all sort of excuses to not do it and even had an attitude when I complained about it. Neither the room's door lock nor the safety box worked, they were broken and had to be replaced once I noticed when I tried to use them. The bed sheets and bathroom towels had stains, and the mosquito protectors had holes. We had to leave the hotel after 2 nights even thought we had planned to stay 7 nights. The front desk staff would not even attempt to do a partial refund for the nights that were left free. Do NOT stay in this hotel, it does not feel at all like 4 stars, more like 3 and with very bad service.

A short walk to great restaurants. The beach on the other side of the small sandy road is stunning. The pool could use a little clean up from the sand that’s accumulated. Overall, I’d stay there again.

Holbox is an amazing place, the hotel is in a great location, just by the beach. However rooms are not very comfortable, it's quite basic for the price paid. Also, I felt the reception was looking for any opportunity to take advantages of us ...like I booked a taxi 4hours before my departure and he said he could order it 10min before ( island very small), I finally found one myself and ask him to cancel the one he was going to call like 1hour before, he was trying to make me pay for it while he said he would order it 10 min before...there were few small things like this, that doesn't give you a great impression of the staff/ hotel. He also tried to charge me for the safe in the room..
