Trelawne is the latest gem in our stunning range of holiday properties. This five-bedroom beach house, nestled on the shores of Plaidy Beach, is designed for those seeking a blend of comfort, style, and breathtaking natural beauty. It is the perfect property for bigger groups including large families or friendship circles to come together and create lasting memories.
Location: Situated on the shore of Plaidy beach with spectacular panoramic views of Looe Bay and Looe Island. Only a 15-minute walk along the coastal path from the centre of the picturesque coastal town of Looe, renowned for its rich maritime history and vibrant local culture.
Accommodation:
On arrival ample parking is available at the front of the house for 5/6 vehicles.
Entry to the house is via the first floor, where there is a large porch with double part glazed doors opening into the spacious hallway.
On this floor there are three bedrooms which all access a large ocean-facing balcony, perfect for morning coffees with a view. The huge ensuite master bedroom features a super king bed and has a vaulted bay window with seating, offering spectacular panoramic ocean vistas. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with mixer shower over. This room has access to the balcony and also an interconnecting door to the next bedroom. The adjoining bedroom is a triple room with 3 single beds – perfect for families, this lovely spacious room has sliding glass doors which access the balcony. The third bedroom on this floor is a double room with sliding glass doors to the balcony and access to a Jack and Jill bathroom, which features a bath with mixer shower over.
From the hallway a 1.5 metre wide staircase with 19 shallow stairs leads to the ground floor where you will find the heart of Trelawne. Its large, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is ideal for socialising and entertaining. This room has stunning views out to sea being fully glazed to one side and with patio doors which open out to the large, terraced area. The kitchen area features a large island and is very well equipped, there is a double range oven with 2 grills, 6 ring hob and hotplate. 2 dishwashers, large larder fridge and even 2 sinks! There is a larder cupboard for extra storage which houses a small freezer and microwave.
You will also find a large laundry room with a Bosch washing machine and tumble drier and additional drying area and a boot room for storing all your coats and shoes and downstairs WC.
Additionally, there is a separate lounge with a 65-inch smart TV. This room again has fantastic views and opens on to the terrace area. Books and board games are provided for entertainment on rainy days.
There are 2 further large ensuite bedrooms on this level. A family room featuring a king size bed and 2 x 3ft single beds and a second family room with a king size bed and one 3ft single. This room also has doors to the patio. Both the ensuites have baths with mixer showers over.
Pet-Friendly: Your furry friends are welcome at Trelawne (max 2), making it a perfect getaway for the entire family. We do ask that you keep them off the beds and furniture as it is all brand new!
Patio & Beach Access: At the rear of the property, a large patio area with seating overlooks Looe Bay and Looe Island. Steps lead directly down to Plaidy Beach, where you can explore rock pools, enjoy a refreshing sea swim, or bask in the sun building sandcastles.Please note for Summer 2024 bookings, there is a house renovation taking place next door which is in the final stages and due for completion at the end of August. There is a large wall separating the properties to maintain privacy but please be aware there may be some noise transference during working hours. Please feel free to call for more information.
