St Simons Rentals is proud to present Mariner Cottage. This lovely cottage is located in the beautiful seaside community of Coast Cottages. The award winning community boasts of two pools and beach access with a boardwalk at a wide section of the St. Simon’s beach. Go for a morning stroll, only a short walk to the beach.
Mariner Cottage, built in 2000, has a unique feature of a stunning living room built in the shape of a lighthouse. A great place to relax with family and friends, this room is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. At night the lighting is spectacular and lends a cozy, comfortable, relaxed feeling to the room.
This three-story home has the living area and kitchen on the top floor. Enjoy the front and back porches with one of St. Simon’s beautiful live oaks just off the front porch and a lovely view of Coast Cottage Lane off the back covered porch.
You need not worry about carrying groceries to the top floor. Just hop on the elevator and ride to the top.
The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The first floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. The second floor also has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom with a King size bed is located on the second floor with a private bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is the 4th bedroom that features 2 twin beds and a full bathroom.
Enjoy a bike ride into the village or take a longer trip to the north end of the island to see the beautiful setting of Christ Church amongst the hundred-year-old live oaks. Another St. Simon’s favorite is an early morning bike ride to the beach to see the sunrise. We have bikes available for rent.

This property was lovely and a pleasure to enjoy for our ladies weekend away. Well equipped and very comfortable to spend lots of time chatting together.

Only there for five days but was. Great location and the elevator was a huge bonus for my father who has knee trouble. My daughter enjoyed her bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beach is such a close walk and the pool was warm even when it was cold out so the kids could swim!

We are a family of 7 and everyone had a fabulous time. All accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The house was unique and interesting. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

Really love this vacation home, place is as nice as the photos. Layout perfect for our group, son 26 and daughter 22 had their own rooms with a bathroom to share on bottom level, my husband and I with the master suite on the next level with our 16 year only and her friend with twin beds and a bathroom of their own on our floor. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was beautiful. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck outside the kitchen. The separation of the bedrooms and living space was nice to let everyone sleep in. Close to a great spot to put Kayaks in near the marsh. Small walk to the beach but we rented golf carts and there is parking for them (but not cars) near the pool/beach. Town was friendly and local restaurants really good. Played golf in Brunswick county, very nice course only a short drive but adorable. Home owners provided plenty of beach chairs and toys which was a nice bonus. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

The whole process from booking to checkout was incredibly smooth. Our hosts were super responsive (even with a random power outage that neither of us had any control over). We had a great stay and we appreciated all the recommendations that were shared with us.

We absolutely loved our stay at St. Simons and your home. It felt like we were in a tree house. Great central location excellent for runs, bike rides and walks. We look forward to a return.

We had such a great experience renting Harold and Melissa’s place! The location is excellent - from the pools in the neighborhood, to the beach access and tons of nearby restaurants. We are already talking about when we can come back!

We came down in the off-season to attend the gator bowl in Jacksonville. Communication with Harold was very easy and the house was as described and very nice. The top floor with the wall of windows was beautiful with awesome views of the trees and marsh. We also enjoyed some outside time on the porches. The house was well equipped with all of the necessities. The elevator came in handy as it is multiple flights to get to the top floor. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

The property made a great place for our family to gather for Christmas. It has great access to the beach, 1/2 mile from some great restaurants/ shops and is not far from the main downtown area. We would like to come back when it gets a little warmer so we can enjoy all that this property and the island has to offer.

We had such a wonderful weekend checking out the Christmas lights at Jekyll with my nieces and nephews. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed!

We came down to go fishing and really got lucky finding this beautiful house. And the location could not have been much better as we had others renting houses around it. All within walking distance of each other and the beach.

We were in St Simmons for a family wedding at The King and Prince. This property was perfect for the 6 adults. Plenty of room and enough bathrooms. So close to beach , bikes and restaurants.

The owners were great! Provided clear communication and even recommendations of things to do/places to go in the area. Not only was the unit clean, well stocked and furnished, the surrounding areas and other cottages were as well. All round fantastic experience. We will be back!

Great location , less than 5 min walk to beach and pool. Host excellent communication , house very clean, plenty of kitchen equipment . Pool chairs and cart , village restaurants excellent, favorites Palmer cafe and Tramici Italian
Only negative would be no 1/2 bath on main living level (third floor ) . There was an elevator . My family and I were able to climb stairs so not a problem . Enjoyed sitting on swing in back porch . Excellent overall experience.

We are a family of 5 adults and 2 children. This beautifully furnished house has plenty of space for our entire family to spread out. The owners are so nice and always respond immediately to any questions we might have. The beauty of St. Simon's Island and the beauty of the Mariner Cottage make this a perfect vacation place for us.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mariner. The location on the island was wonderful and very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The house was perfect for our group; a room for my husband & me, a twin room for our two oldest kids, a room for my parents, and a room for our 1.5yr old daughter to sleep in the provided pack’n’play (which was so nice to not have to bring from home). We hit a plumbing snafu the first day, but the owners were very quick to respond and send someone out to fix it immediately. The house is very close to the cute community pools and beach access. We just loaded our stuff up and biked each day. Our stay was so wonderful and we definitely plan to return. When we left, the owners alerted us that someone had left behind some clothes and offered to mail them to us, which is such a kind gesture. So definitely recommend with five stars!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Mariner! The hosts were AMAZING! Very quick to respond to any questions we had from the get-go all the way through our stay. The house is a short walk to the beach but fine for me 9, 7 and 4 year old. We had some great meals at Porch, Crabdaddy's, Half Shell and Southern Soul! Also LOVED the italian ice and icecream at Sunset Slush. Had it several times. They have a storefront but you can also get just the italian ice on the beach from a cart! The pool was empty in the evenings right before dark and our kids loved that. Also loved the big tide pools on the beach in the evenings. My husband enjoyed a round of golf at Sea Palms and we loved walking around the Village. Would highly recommend renting this place! Very cute inside and comes fully stocked too (even with toilet paper and towels!). We used the beach wagon in their basement area every single day to take our stuff to the beach. Thanks for a great week!

Everyone in our group was so happy with our accommodations and the location of the property. We spent everyday either at the beach or the pool. Communication with the owners was excellent, even when one of the little ones got locked in a bedroom, they were available if needed. Would come back again without any hesitation.

We had the best weekend at this property! It was so clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great location and provided easy access to everything on the island. The owners were very responsive to questions and messages. We would return to this property again in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to go back!
