We had a wonderful time in Dar Arif Hotel. We got a shuttle from airport was proposed by Rachid, their own driver was very friendly. staff Rachid and Bashir. They shwow up We will go back sometimes soon please God. Thank you to all of you.

I thought I had booked a room with an en-suite bathroom. Our bathroom was across the hall and had a broken toilet seat, situated on the first floor. We stayed here for 3 days and on the last day I noticed I had a lot of bites and there was blood on the sheets which to me indicated bed bugs. I actually killed 3 when I further investigated. Subsequent days were treacherous due to the bites, pharmacy visits for antihistamines and trying to ensure all of our luggage was not infested. Although the RIAD looks to be very clean please be aware that there are bed bugs. I am still suffering from the bites and have had to destroy luggage and contents. This RIAD should be shut down until completely exterminated. This incident completely spoiled our vacation.

Air-conditioner was not working properly and maintenance were not able to fix it and no other room was offered to solve the issue.

Small but comfortable and splendid hotel in the medina. AC Rooms. Great hospitality by staff. Best moroccan breakfast. All in highly recommended !

Beautifully decorated with excellent staff. Rooms were clean and very well taken care of. I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Great location, very welcoming staff and the place feels very authentic, clean and safe. There is even a upstairs terrace for panoramic view! But my room had the private bathroom outside the room which was the only discomfort but not a problem for me. Definitely recommend for the price!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location has some twists and turns that may deter the unadventurous, but it is a jewel to be uncovered and treasured for the willing. We found our room to be nicely decorated and comfortable. The included breakfast was delightful, and the staff was welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Was first day and first hotel in Morocco - and Rashid welcomed me with my first cup of mint tea. I am so grateful for the walking tour he gave me and the help he provided in trip planning! Was a great hot shower and even a hair dryer! Great place, great patio, wish I could have spent more time there!

Breakfast was great - Moroccan style & plenty.WiFi - was temperamental in the afternoons/evenings. So guys, get an email address for customers even if you don't want to have a website and get your WiFi checked out.

A great location in the Medina. The staff is incredible and helpful. I had 2 rooms and I was very pleased with my rooms.

Staffs are very helpful. Location behind Hotel Continental, just 1 min walk. However it is in the medina, sometimes is hard for drivers who are not from Tangier to find the direction. Our driver is from Marrakech who drives us for a 4 days tour to Sahara, Fes and Tangier. He called the raid for direction but Expedia, yr given riad phone no.6263641315 is wrong and cannot reach the riad. We found the correct phone no. from www.darrif.com which is 0539939497 and finally reach the staff. Staff is so kind as to pick us up at the end of the driveway. Expedia pls update the riad phone no record.

The place isn't hard to find (with gps and following signs on the streets), it is within walking distance to the port (about 20 minutes) and a long, but easy walk to the train station (about 50 minutes). The breakfast is very nice, with pancakes, jam, butter, croissant, bread, honey, coffee, milk, tea, yogurt, cereal and orange juice. The room we stayed in (top floor) was very nice, spacious and super clean. It had a mini fridge and a kettle (tea, instant coffee and sugar cubes provided) and a powerful air conditioner. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were great and the towels were very soft. The door had gaps, so we used some towels to close it so that no bugs would come inside the room. The terrace had great views of the sea. Overall, a very nice riad with amazing prices, would definetely recommend to anyone staying in Tanger.
