If your a coffee drinker and want to relax in morning be sure to bring your own..pot was provided but no coffee. No indication it was a "self-check in" so we had to try to fin the office and then when we did it was closed. Eventually found the check in info was in a mailbox. Then, despite being in the name, the restaurant was permanently closed, so no food on day 1.

The cabin was super clean and ready for us. They have everything you need: toiletries, robes for the hot tub, chopped wood for the wood stove, stocked kitchen, movies, games, books. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't already there. Easy check in and check out. The property is quiet and the mountain views are amazing.

We were put in dragonfly due to construction nesr our original choice and that was ok but we had stayed in it two years previouse so were a bit sad to not have a different place. The only down side is the couch in it is awful, my husband said he would rather buy them a new couch than pay the rate lol. That being said it is super private, well equipt and the private hot tub is just amazing. We will be returning annually.

Good location and facility. Internet was not working for entire stay and management failed to respond to a request for an ETA on resolution.

Stayed in Adventure Cabin. The best part of the cabin is the private outdoor hot tub! I'm not a fan of communal hot tubs at large ski resorts and hotels. Other than the hot tub, the cabin needs serious updates. The furniture, linens, cookware, fixtures, and accessories are seriously worn down and dated. We did not enjoy how the hot tub cover didn't come down thus blocking the view of the mountains. The manager, Chelsea, was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. She also brought us extra towels / linens quickly when we requested them. Overall an OK experience. Not extremely motivated to book another stay unless the property undergoes some updates.

We had a great stay. Beautiful nature and view from the house is absolutely amazing. The house has such a warm and inviting feeling that you don't want to leave.

Lovely, clean, well appointed chalets and beautiful views make this property a top choice when visiting the Golden area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cedar House Chalets and plan to stay here again in the future!

Great quiet location feeling like in the woods. Loved lying in the hot tub watching the surrounds in private. Chalet was comfortable, but dark inside. Elderly people may have a difficult time getting to the loft bed. Staff were very friendly and gave us some useful travel tips

Beautiful views and clean

We loved the quietness, the deck with hottub and bbq. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our family was able to spread out and enjoy the unit.

Quite cabin on quiet drive overlooking mountains. We enjoyed the full size kitchen, hot tub, and fireplace. Good amenities, and located not far from town.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend away from everything. The wood burning fireplace & private Hot tub were incredible. Very clean & staff were great.

The pictures do not do justice of how beautiful and tranquility of the location of the cabin. As well, how clean and comfortable the cabin is. It beat our expectations. Can’t wait to plan another trip. Only place we would stay in Golden.

The chalet was amazing! They didn't forget anything.The mountains were also amazing! Incredible views and fresh air. If you enjoy peace and quiet, privacy and your own hot tub, this is the place. We will definitely be back :)
