The room was very clean and overall the condition was comfortable. The scenery was amazing off the patio except there is a lot of vehicle traffic below the hotel on the highway so the scenery gets lost in the traffic noise. Updates to the bathroom were needed and supplying more up to date items (microwave/fridge) in the room would be beneficial. The restaurant was excellent. It’s worth trying this out, the location to RMNP was great just be prepared to spend some $.

The view was absolutely incredible from our room. They even brought us coffee in the morning and left it at our door so we could sit and drink coffee on the balcony. They also custom made us breakfast in the morning. The experience was incredible.

Wonderful quiet resort. Coffee service in the morning was a wonderful treat. Only negative was the size of the hot tub, it is extremely small for the entire resort to share.

This property sits outside of town in a picturesque setting. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The place is kept immaculately. Although it got warm a couple of days while we were there, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck for breakfast and coffee the other mornings. It was a relaxing oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

The Tahara is a very nice property and would stay there again! It’s just outside of town and east to get to. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. We also had a nice patio to drink coffee on in the morning. The breakfast is cooked to order and was amazing! (Very friendly staff). My only suggestions are: (We stayed in the Mountain Jim room). The a/c needs to be fixed as soon as possible and the water pressure in the shower needs adjusting-it had an extremely, extremely, slow flow rate.

The property was beautiful and clean. Lots of Parking. The steakhouse has exceptional food. Breakfast was great but didn’t like that we had to put a time down that we would be there. Wish there was more staff on hand for questions about the room or property.

This is our 2nd stay and both rooms were great. Stanley Steamer and Dunraven. Overall fantastic location and lodge. Service and staff were great. The beds are very comfortable and great balconys. I do have a few suggestions. Add a small refrigerator in the room and a small common area microwave/ coffee station. Logistically this may not work but it would be a huge convenience.. Thanks again for the great weekend stay and we wjll be back again soon.

This was an excellent boutique lodge (18 rooms). There was no phone, radio alarm, or coffee pot. All three were not needed because we have cell phones and coffee was served in a carafe at 7 am. Changing times. Free hot breakfast from a 4 choice menu. The view was awesome of the mountains, except for the huge trees. Included a balcony and a fireplace.

This was a beautiful setting, a mountain view from your balcony, very comfortable bed, and served a lovely breakfast. The breakfast staff were very helpful. This was a trip for my husband and I. Check-in went well, but limited hours were available for this process. I'm not sure if this was COVID-19 related or not. I later learned that a hot tub was available for use and our room had a steam shower. We wish those amenities had been pointed out during check-in. There was no spa services available, no use of the lobby, no happy hour, and no in-room house-keeping services due to COVID-19. I do understand that there are guidelines to follow and every industry is making adjustments to manage this. However, I didn't feel like the price we paid reflected the lack of services and amenities. We were at Taharaa Mountain Lodge for three nights. This was the end of our vacation and splurged at this location. So we were disappointed that they were not more creative to continue at least happy hour. It could have been seated in the lobby and breakfast area or taken back to your room, instead of mingling and moving about. Most people pay extra so that they get to enjoy the extra indulgences.
