Room is newly furnished. Bed is comfortable . Location is very good .

Hotel is old but clean. Very near to Wuyishan, within walking distance. Walk down the hotel, there is a lot of chinese cafe/tea & restaurants. We loved to drink tea, so we find this place suits us.

They have the counter to change foreign currency for guests but refused to help us out. Gave many excuses that was unreasonable. Slow in check-in registration. Unable to speak basic English. Those who cannot speak Mandarin, best not to stay in this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff at all levels.We especially would like to thank Ms Fanny ( front desk manager) who was very helpful in explaining how to use the tour package we finally booked after much discussion on the options available. Staff also readily suggested eating at nearby shops n showed us how to get there( short walk).

Room rates varied widely. We booked 1 night at a promotion rate n later added another night's stay . The 2nd night was at a rate nearly double the 1st night although same rooms were booked. Only some staff could speak English well and this caused difficulty when we tried to book the tour packages promoted at the travel agent within the hotel facilities. Only Chinese brochures available...no translated versions.
