Up there with one of the worst places I’ve stayed. When we arrived there was a rope over the entrance blocking access, I phoned the numbers provided for some guidance but no answer…. We finally got into our apartment, there was a big leak in one of the bedroom entrances, and I assume one of the cleaners had placed a saucepan under it (instead of getting it repaired?) the carpet was sodden around it. We wanted the heating on, well the ridiculous instruction video thats sent on the check in message was no help whatsoever, the radiator in the living area wouldn’t come on. After ringing the contact number again and raising these issues, we got switched apartments…. All well & good but when we’d already unpacked & got an 18 month old running around it was a joke to be quite honest. We got into the second apartment which was marginally better. An apartment that can sleep 4 people with only 2 dining chairs & not enough crockery. There were screws left on the window sill and broken ornaments with sharp edges, and lights with no bulbs in, not what you expect from a ‘luxury’ apartment, especially with a child. Leaving the apartment it was heavy rain and the whole front of the reception area was dripping wet and the decking had come up. I’ve absolutely no idea why this place charges £100 damage deposit when there is so much wrong with it!! And with regards to getting your deposit back .. they are happy to accept money through paypal but won’t refund you through there, they won’t inform you of that until you chase where your money is! And although in their booking terms & conditions they state they will return your deposit 3-5 banking days after you’ve checked out… thats false. I sent numerous messages to get my deposit back & kept getting fobbed off with “we’ll chase it with management”. It took 15 days for my money to be returned. A joke just before Christmas.

The organisation to get in. It wasn’t clear beforehand you need to pay a £100 deposit. I then received a number of emails telling me I hadn’t paid. As I also paid £100 for the stay I checked my bank and £100 had gone out so I thought it was a scam. Very little information provided and no reception made it very hard and frustrating to access. Other travellers had the same issues getting in.
