Amazing place , the team really look after you one of the best hotels have ever stayed at incredible. Book direct though not through expedia, issues with flights also booked through them nearly ruined the holiday and have spent hours on with chat agents to sort it out and they are no help at all.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at La barbera. This place truly is a hidden gem..the best B&B on the coast. Sylvia, Roberto, and Francesco go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home. I can’t recommend this place enough. 100/10

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. La Barbera is really a very unique hotel. Great location, super nice rooms with a fantastic view and above all the great service, very nice people. You have the feeling of being in paradise.

Sylvia greeted us and as we were between lunch and dinner yet hungry, she offered us some small bites to tide us over until dinner (which were amazing!). She helped us with making dinner reservations too. We had our 13 year old son with us and Sylvia was so nice to talk to him and make him feel special too. She also made sure we had a to-go bag of food and drinks when we had a 5 am taxi ride to our train. This was the best service I've ever had at a hotel or B&B. The room was amazing - the balcony and view just make it such a wow factor! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, but I will warn that it is on the side of a mountain and there were a lot of steep stairs to get up and down! There is a bus available if you don't want to do stairs.

My room had a hot tub and overlooked the coast. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious with so many options. The communication was fantastic. I had many conversations with Roberta prior to our stay and she responded without delay. The only problem with the B&B was leaving because I did not want to leave!

Super nice property was easily our group's unanimous favorite of our entire vacation. Extremely helpful and friendly staff guided our itinerary, recommended dining options and checked availability. We definitely plan to return to this property.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay here. This was my first time in Italy and I enjoyed my stay here the most. First of all, I have never seen a hotel so clean. Impeccably clean! Sylvia and Roberto are kind and attentive. I was a solo travel and they went above and beyond to help me find dining options and transportation. The Amalfi Coast is not exactly the easiest place when it comes to transportation but the staff here made the experience less daunting and way more manageable. I highly recommend staying in Praiano for those who want to avoid the crowds. The private terrace was a major plus. Breakfast here was also a peaceful and enjoyable experience. I felt like I had my own slice of paradise. I highly recommend this place and if I am ever in the Amalfi Coast I will be staying here. Thank you so much for hospitality.

A beautiful dream. Our visit to Praiano was as if we had a stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the sky. We were surrounded by blue all around us. From the azure blue of the sea, to the blue of the decor and sky, we felt as if we had landed on top of an Italian cliff. Can’t thank the staff enough for their friendliness. The breakfast was a delight. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The best hotel!! The service from everyone was incredible, the property is espectacular and completely renewed and it was the best breakfast with an awesome view.

This was hands down the best place we picked the whole trip! The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast amazing everyday. The rooms and view outstanding. I couldn’t recommend more.

The rooms and terrace are stunning, and the view is even better, it really does take your breath away. The room was completely spotless and tidy each day. One day we even came home to a birthday gift for my partner which was so sweet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was so lovely to sit on the beautiful terrace each morning. Make sure to request the cake of the day with breakfast each morning, all of them were soooo tasty. We will not stop raving about this property, and the amazing hospitality that all of the staff provide. We hope to return very soon as I am not sure anywhere will beat this!
