It is called Berlin Hotel. Having a name on the booking site/confirmation would make it easier to find, so too would knowing it is outside Budapest city centre. Remember, it is cheap to stay here, and there has to be a reason for that. **For honesty sake, I should say we booked a DELUXE Double Room, but when we saw the room did not match the details stated on our booking confirmation, we asked to be moved to a better room. We did stay in the double room for half an hour, so our statements are honestly given.** The hotel receptionist was very helpful, and he spoke good English, which is always a welcome bonus. He was willing to sort out our room change with minimum fuss. When booking a double room, ignore the description "Deluxe", the room is not deluxe. It is a small and tidy room, with IKEA furniture and a clean bathroom. You get single/twin beds and one towel each (no hand towel in the bathroom). Reception also gave us a TV remote but the TV didn't work! You have to go back to reception and ask for a hairdryer and a kettle as these are not in the room, but are available on request. There is no "city view", only a view of the road and the car park. The WiFi is Very Slow, and it keeps cutting out which can be very frustrating. There is a good choice of breakfast but it is basic quality.  We had no idea what we were trying, but personally we didn't like much; however, we did see other people enjoying the food. Each to their own! Location, city view and parking, are not really as advertised. The WiFi is very slow. The views are of secure car parks, which you don't get to use! There is limited parking out front on the road or under the trees (see photos). The hotel is not in any city centre, but in a rather run-down area. It could be 15 minutes by bus or tram to the city centre, but our four trips took nearer 25 minutes each.

The Berlin Hotel is OK, it is basic, no frills, clean and reasonably quiet, with cheap food, no views and little street parking. It is much further from Budapest city centre than we expected given the "Only 15 minutes to CITY CENTER" title. But it is also cheap, so you need to decide between location and price.

Az elhelyezkedése tökéletesen a központban volt. Viszont nagyon tetszett hogy a város zaja nem hallatszott be.

Mikor megérkeztek a turistabuszok nagyon hangosak voltak, és a túristák sem voltak tekintettel éjszaka az ott pihenő vendégekre. Arra ébredtem a férjemmel hogy valaki ráncigálta az ajtónkat.
