Coming back for a second year, we felt like we were coming home. The house is incredibly comfortable and full of warmth and history. The layout and furnishings in the home are perfect for 12 people to gather together or find their own little nook. Melissa is an extraordinary host who really cares about the experience that her guests have. The expansive deck and lovely screen porch make sitting around just enjoying the lake incredibly enjoyable. The view and surroundings are even more stunning than the pictures represent. Having rented a boat and toured around Lake Martin while we were there, we can definitely confirm that Melissa’s place is one of the most picturesque and private spots on the lake. My family is excited to book our 3rd stay in 2025!

This was everything we wanted in a Lake house and it has quick access to the marina for boat rental,. The nearby Walmart for groceries, and the liquor store made the location perfect for our family reunion. We had 11 adults and 5 kids under the age of 10. The house is beautiful and is equipped with everything we needed. We have an autistic 8 year old who loved the little doggie house, the various swings and the walk-in beach access. Upon arrival, everything was nice and neat and smelled amazing! The griddle top grill was great for cooking everything from bacon for breakfast to steaks for dinner. We will definitely be returning soon.

The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. My kids loved the room of bunkbeds. Teenager loved having her own adorable room decorated so nicely! The homeowners have thought of everything from the entry way down to the back doors that lead to the path to your own dock. We enjoyed the beach and fishing from the dock. The whole family loved the pool table and games on the main level. Kitchen has all the utensils and things you will need to feel right at home. You can get to a grocery store and a cute coffee shop and small local corner store within 10 minutes. We loved having two outdoor deck areas to relax and enjoy and the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs was a hit. We will return to enjoy this house again. Don't hesitate, book this house. Homeowner was easy to communicate with and very helpful!

This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at. As nice as the pictures are, the views are even better in person. Melissa was helpful in communications before we checked in and was so nice and a huge help in getting us checked in and all the information we need. She was only a text message away. We barely wanted to leave the house because everything we could want was right there in the house. We cooked great meals in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoyed the dock, and had plenty of laughs around the pool table. The rooms were comfortable (beds are amazing) and we had plenty of options to enjoy a different view. We noticed the fine details that made you feel that you were in a quality home. We are looking forward to booking again!

The lakefront location is fantastic with views for days. Just walking in the front door takes your breath away! The upstairs living space has the feel of a chic ski lodge with a huge stone fireplace and comfy couches and chairs. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable and overall this home is an A+. Plenty of room for our 9 adults. The dock was perfect for everyone - extending out over the crystal clear Lake Martin water. Melissa was incredibly responsive to any questions I had and very accommodating. We were sad to leave such a magical place. We will be back soon!
