The house is a 2 min WALK to Kailua beach down a private lane (ignore the VRBO map and stances). Kailua Beach is often rated one of the best beaches in the world. The house is a 15 min. walk or 5 min. drive from Kailua Town. Kailua is a charming town with many delicious restaurants and shopping for everyone including:
Island Snow, Lanikai Juice, Kalapawai Market, Kailua Beach Adventures, Mahina and so much more! Additionally, there is a Target and Whole Foods in town for your convenience.

The house is close to many great hikes including the Lanikai Pillbox hike--a great way to watch the sunrise! Or you can just walk to the end of our lane and watch the beautiful sunrise over the ocean, then walk down the beach to Kalapawai Market for their amazing Kona coffee--our favorite way to start the day.
