Perched atop Eastern Hill in Manly, Pacific Cottage offers a serene retreat between the Ocean and Sydney Harbour. Recently renovated, this historic sandstone home blends soulful contemporary style with nostalgic influences from Portugal and Africa.
Walk to everything! Pacific Cottage is a beautifully renovated federation home that rests peacefully on Eastern Hill and positioned perfectly between Pacific Ocean and Sydney Harbour. The property offers a location where guests can access literally everything within a short-walk. Within 5 minutes you could find yourself right in the middle the Corso, Strolling down Manly Cove to he Ferry, jumping into the waves on an epic 4km surf beach or hiking North Head (Yes this is where Mission Impossible was filmed). Ferry Bower Snorkling and Paddleboarding is also a must and is only a few blocks away. Forget about renting a car....you don't need one here. The property itself is bathed in natural light and refreshed by afternoon ocean breezes. • Pets are considered upon application and only upon written approval from the owner/manager.
• The owner has two golden retrievers, so the property may not be suitable for guests with certain allergies. There are a couple stains on sofas but is cosmetic only and covered up appropriately with throws
• Basement room has four beds with a low ceiling.
• Bonus - the owner has advised that they are happy for guests to use their beach gear (i.e. surfboards, boogie boards etc)
• Off street parking on driveway for one large car or two small cars (end to end) only. It's a busy street, with limited, timed parking on the street. No street parking permit supplied.
• This is the owner's primary home. There may be non-perishable items left in the pantry for guest's usage, and some cupboards may also contain personal items.
