No line for check in when I arrived which was great. My first time staying there; I loved it

I read so many bad reviews of the Great Cedar Hotel that I almost didn’t book mine and my husband’s getaway there. I am sooo glad that I decided to take a chance!!! If you can, get the king suite because it’s so spacious and very nice with two window seats for a little extra special charm. The room was clean and very comfortable. It could be updated a little but it wasn’t like going back in time and there was nothing wrong with how the suite was set up. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay. Great Cedar is located close to all casino, eating and shopping, but be prepared to walk, there is alot to see.

King size bed suite was very spacious. Bathroom was amazing with jacuzzi tub, plus large walk in shower, his & her sinks and toilet room.
Casino is huge. Plenty of dining choices from casual to upscale. We don’t gamble a lot, so took advantage of exploring many bars and restaurants and the shopping.
Disappointed lack of live singers or bands for a holiday weekend.
Outlets are great. Unlike other Tanger locations, it’s all indoors. More like a mall.
First time here. Will definitely be back.

It was great for proximity to casino and ease of coming and going. Check in took some time but that is understandable considering the current pandemic. The room was OK, but for the price I expected more. I usually stay 5 minutes down the road for half the cost and the room is exactly the same.
If the rooms cost the same I would stay again for convenience, but if they are not the same I will continue to stay down the road

I liked that everything had stickers indicating items were sanitized. Overall the room was good. My one complaint is the loud seagulls that conjugated right outside the window on the roof of the adjacent building - disrupted sleep.

I liked that it was convenient to the rest of Foxwoods. The rooms are really dated. The thermostat is still a knob you turn from hot to cold like in the 90s.
Above the bed there was a blinking white light that drove me crazy at night. It illuminated every 3 seconds or so and it was directly over the bed.
It was the only hotel where it's valet services and parking lot garage was closed. That will be the first and last time I ever choose the Great Cedar. I will choose Grand Pequot or Fox Tower instead.

Great Cedar isn’t as well maintained as the Grand Pequot or Fox Tower. We stayed in a room facing the roof and there were birds that kept us up all night. Our heat didn’t work and our room didn’t come with a do not disturb sign and no one seemed to be able to provide us with one. The front desk told us they’d have one slid under our door and they never did and housekeeping didn’t have any. I could also hear people singing in the room next to us. I was quite disappointed with this stay.

It should have been told that pools were closed and many amenities. However we were required to pay a resort fee even though many things were closed. Also should have been told many places in the casino were closed as well.

The parking garage was difficult to find from the main entrance... we drove around three times before we found it. I was using my phone for directions.

Quite and peaceful. I came with my family/ friends who loves the casino. I enjoyed reading in the cozy room.

Good but we did not have a nice view from our room. Our view was staging and construction equipment stored on lower floor roof

The hotel was pretty standard. The room was clean except for a large stain on a chaise lounge. The staff was very accommodating and changed our room to fit our special request. The phone in the room did not work and we did not receive a comforter blanket, but that may have something to do with Covid restrictions. Overall, the room served it's purpose. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This hotel is sadly outdated. While the room was clean and relatively comfortable, the carpeting was old, the décor was old and the hotel lobby and other common areas were below expectations.

Rewards card did not work on lots of the games... had to get a new one. Tried reprinting and the machine Captured my drivers license. Had to wait at least a half hour to get someone to open the machine for me. Refrigerator in our room was very tipsy so bottles Of water kept falling out.

Planned a fun birthday weekend for my husband. Everything was great. Arrived early hoping to check in early. Was told, in a not so friendly tone no rooms ready yet. We opted for a smoking room because my husband is a smoker. The room was very clean and spacious but had that lingering smoke smell. All in all we had a fun stay.

I didn''t like the bedding. No blanket or bed spred on the beds. White sheets cold & hard. I requested a smoking room. Received a room with no ash trays. Found one bug in a towel when I Unfolded it. My only complaints.

The bathroom was disgusting..the floor was dirty and sticky. The bathroom shower nozzle broken- really- we know how to use them. This one was broken. AND, 02/02/2020 (a palendrone btw) was my 54th birthday on Superbowl Sunday when I was actually born on the first Superbowl.
NOT ONE PERSON SAID HAPPY BIRTHDAY WHILE LOOKING AT MY ID. I even mentioned it upon check-in and even THEN nothing. Like they didnt even hear me. We just dumped at least 2 grand at your hotel ! You just keep going downhill. Your customer service is horrible-
