The Neighborhood:

The Plantin-Moretus Museum is the only museum in the world to be classified as a Unesco World Heritage site. In the shadow of the Cathedral of Our Lady, the city teems with life in intimate pubs and restaurants. The banks of the Scheldt are a great place for a breath of fresh air.

Antwerp is a metropole and offers lots of public transport possibilities. We advise you to avoid the city center by car. Please note that the entire city centre of Antwerp and Linkeroever are a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) to ensure that air in the city becomes even cleaner. The most polluting cars are no longer welcome in the city. Always check your vehicle with the check tool before entering the LEZ.
