Savour this great property with 150′ of waterfront
Relax on the large waterfront deck, hop into a kayak or paddleboat to explore the canal or take a journey through the locks to Lake Simcoe. Jump off the dock to enjoy swimming or engage in some great fishing. The gated, fenced property backs onto Hwy 48 for easy access to the cottage to go out for shopping or to the many local attractions. There is a marina located next door with a boat launching available for a fee.
Be entertained cooking and gathering in the open concept kitchen and living area. As an added bonus, the same can be enjoyed in the large screened outdoor room with BBQ, kitchen and propane heater with a great view of lake. For further fun, spend time in the large family room on the lower level with Smart TV, darts, and foosball table.
Enjoy the amazing sunsets, roasting marshmallows while relishing in the day and exchanging stories around the huge fire pit or snuggle up to the indoor wood fireplace after a busy day.

Kitchen details: fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (Kuerig & brewed), toaster and kettle
Washer/dryer is only available for multiple week stays only (please bring own supplies)

Large flat grassy area perfect for outdoor games and the children to run around with various levels due to landscaping
Child/elderly friendly – young children would need to be supervised due to landscaping
Dock: 40 ft – water is 16 ft at the end of the dock – ladder for exiting (hinged ladder, more like stairs)
Dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger
Deck: length of the cottage
Lakefront deck: over 100 ft
Waterfront: 150 ft
Good swimming
Owner has a weed management program to prevent weeds in the swimming area
Water shoes suggested
2 kayaks + paddleboat
Boating traffic on the canal is 10km/hr with a no wake policy
Motorboats can be utilized on Lake Simcoe (accessed via canal with locks) – boat ride from cottage through the locks to Lake Simcoe would take approx 3 1/2 hours
To note: the marina next-door is very quiet, with very little boat traffic and is virtually a non issue to enjoying cottage life here at this cottage. In all the years that the owner’s family have been at this cottage, there has not been any incidents of a disturbing nature. In actual fact, it is similar to the Intercostal Waterways in Florida where you are able to watch beautiful boats slowly go by with virtually no noise. The conveniences far outweigh any inconveniences!
