Summary:
Welcome to the Skye Chalet, sure to be your favorite place to be while visiting the Pocono Mountains! Our unique home is sure to bring smiles to all who stay. Our chalet is situated on the charming Skye Drive including the following features:
-large outdoor firepit area
-Great room with vaulted ceilings
-5 bedrooms
-High speed Wi-Fi
-Gourmet kitchen
-Large Kitchen Dining Table
-Washer and Dryer
The Space:
Our home can sleep 12 people comfortably; 1 king sized bed, 2 sets of bunk beds with twins over full including pull out trundle beds, 1 full bed and 1 queen bedroom. We are also kid friendly so we have a pack n play, toys, games, booster seat, changing pad and a high chair available. Lake Harmony is also a very safe community with security that drives through the neighborhood nightly and police and a fire station nearby.

You have access to the entire home and private yard.

~There is a supermarket about 15 minutes away on Route 115 called Ahart’s (248 PA 940 Blakeslee, PA 18610)
~There is also a little convenience store right when you turn into Lake Harmony called the Country Peddler (252 Lake Dr., Lake Harmony, PA 18624)
~Terra Cottage restaurant has great breakfast and lunch! They also have a really cute boutique in the back and everything you see on the walls are for sale!
~Louie’s Prime Steakhouse is great for a special occasion or nice night out for dinner
~Shenanigan’s has a nightclub called Boomers
~Jim Thorpe has a great biking trail called the Lehigh Valley Gorge (different variations of difficulty) and it is also a super cute town!
~On the way to Jim Thorpe (about 20 minutes) is Pocono White Water Rafting
~Penn’s Peak is a really cool place to see a concert
~We recommend Jack Frost Mountain for beginner and intermediate skiers, and Big Boulder Mountain for more experienced skiers
~Nick’s Lake House has the best views of Lake Harmony
~Big Boulder Tavern (BBT) has great food and atmosphere and a great view of Big Boulder Lake

~TV Service: We stream TV through Tubi and Netflix and they are already set up on each TV.
~Lights: light switches in the stairwell on the 2nd floor are for the stairwell light and all of the downstairs main area. The light switches between the doors to the deck on the 2nd floor are for the flood light and fan; please do not turn off. To turn the fan off/on or to change the fan’s speed, please use remote located on the wall above the water cooler. Lights in the main areas, kitchen, master bedroom and hot tub room are all dimmable; use the arrows to increase/decrease lighting. Under cabinet lighting for the kitchen is located next to the Keurig (along with the switch for the garbage disposal).
~1st floor electric fireplace: there is a smaller remote to turn on/off. You can also wave your hand in front of the fireplace to turn on, and wave down to turn off. Use the remote to adjust the temperature. Please make sure the fireplace is turned off when not in use! It does put out heat.
~There are some board games in the pantry.
~If you have small children, there is a pack n’ play available for use in the 2nd floor bunk bed room, along with a high chair and booster seat. There are also bed rails for the bunk beds in each bunk bed room closet.
~Lake Access: we will leave 12 lake access passes for the whole house. Please show the pass to the Lake Harmony Estates’ Association worker at the gate if asked (no passes needed after Labor Day)
~Canoes/kayaks/paddleboards: there are no available slips left for canoes/kayaks/paddleboards, so please take them with you when you leave the lake area. There is a dock next to the lake where you can enter the water with them. Please ask the attendant at the beach if you need assistance.
